Picked my son up from airport this morning, and he told me I look so slim since he last saw me and that I look more like his older sister now, instead of his mom. Yayyy, to my sleeve and my partnership, we are champions!

If you are looking for a good source of protein, then try some Jennie-O, All Natural- Turkey Burgers--- they are 93% fat free lean white patties with 30 grams of protein per pattie and 160 calories. I sometimes have 2 a day ( that's 60 grams right there) and they are delicious. You can pan fry them, broil, bake, or put them on the barbecue at the cookout. LOL, sounds like I'm doing a commercial. Just wanted to share some protein good news!

Wow! I love my hubby, he is such a great support system for me and our marriage. We walked 5 miles together today.

I'm so excited, I had 70 lbs to lose and at 7 weeks post-op, I am 1 lb. away from being 1/2 way to my goal. Thank you Lord!!!

I am loving me some Kefir frozen yogurt by Lifeway! OMG, it's so scrumptious! You guys need to give it a try!

I'm so proud of all of us sleevers, we are doing our thing and taking back control of our lives and kicking that weight to the curb! Yay!!!

Having a great God blessed day! Going on a long country ride with my hubby in the morning, putting on my new size 12 jeans and my size large top, woo-hoo!

I cried today, (happy tears) because I'm doing something with my sleeve that I just couldn't accomplish and maintain on my own. I am so thankful to God that he allowed me to go through this procedure, for my beautiful, amazing supportive husband, my very talented doctor and for all the wonderful sleeve friends that this site has brought to my life. Feeling good about yourself is a tremendous life changing experience. Now I'm smiling!!

By the way, yay for my sleeve, I'm down almost 2 dress sizes in 3 weeks post op! I've lost 27lbs. totall since March 1st when I started my pre-op liquids p to now. I have been walking an hour a day and I feel great and I'm looking great too! Just bragging a little, LOL!

I'm so excited! I was given permission by my doc to start my blended foods early because my stomach is healing really good and I had a scrambled egg with cheese and ground turkey and OMG you would have thought I had a 5 star meal, it was sooooo good and it held on my stomach pretty good! Wow, I can eat again!

I'm almost 2 weeks post-op, and despite having trouble getting rid of all my gas( now all gone) I'm doing fantastic! Have lost a total of 23 lbs (including pre-op diet) so far. How great is that!!

I'm officially sleeved, Yay! Last night was really rough because of the excess gas in my abdomen. I was hurting like OMG! My nurse told me that I needed to walk in order to relieve the gas and pressure. I must have walked around the entire floor 6 times, but it paid off because I don't feel any more pain or pressure today. I feel really good. God is so good to me.
