wow..good job. I have a lapband now which has stopped working. I will go in for my lapband to sleeve revision on May 3. You look great. Any regrets having this surgery done?? -

Hi Pixie, Welcome. I have not yet had my surgery. I have a lapband at present very excited about having the sleeve on May 3. I have found so much comfort in this website. So many people on here to help you get through whatever you need. Good luck

Congratulations Stephanie I have a lapband which has stopped working. I will get my lapband removed and my sleeve on May 3. I am really excited but nervous. Keep us posted on your progress -

Oh my gosh I am so nervous. I just got word that my surgery for the sleeve was approved. I got a lap-band on Aug. 2008 and my band is leaking so they are going to have to remove it. I decided to have the sleeve done rather than to be re-banded. I am just soooo nervous. Can anyone tell me how severe the pain is after surgery? I know with the lapband I was up and moving around about 4 hours after surgery. Also when were you able to return back to work? I drive a school bus 8 hours a day and just wondering? I have heard about 2 weeks down time is that about correct for everyone?

Wow I signed up on this site looking for advice and help. I posted a question this morning and had 28 people view my questio but no one took the time to answer my questions and help calm my fears. I was kinda dissappointed : (
