Thanks guys, i don't know anything about the thyroid issues but that just seemed fishy to me. I would think your doctor would want you to lose weight no matter what. I will relay this info to her! i appriciate your help and any other comments!

Are you losing slower becase of your hypothyroidism? I was shocked to hear this and its discouraging her. I would say even IF she only lost 80 lbs.....its better than keeping it. And i would think that even IF she lost weight really slow.....she would EVENTUALLY get there.

Next time I will watch my words more carefully when they can be pervertedly interpreted for other meanings hahaha!!! I can't have anyone breaking the code of all of woman-kind! No pretzels, girl!! That's my point! lol So, how bout this weather!!!

I've seen somewhere on the post "as soon as your up to it" ....as far as working out /lifting (i know neither is sex...) my doc said a month. i didn't ask about intimacy lol. Just dont get pregnant!!!

I would find a new doctor that can sympathize with your concerns and have better bedside manner. You need to feel like your 110% in good hands, Especially since your LIFE is in their hands. Do more research ...find a better doctor.

sab, im not sure where your flying into, or out of but I was searching expedia, travelocity and all of those, then the Philadelphia international airport (im flying my boyfriend in to myrtle beach, and my mom out) and I came acrossed kayak. It will give you all of the rates ...it'll bring up like 20 pop ups but it shows which is the cheapest. Thats how i found mine, ended up using atlantic city airport which is a smaller airport.... it was 109 one way per person, first row , first class seats. I'm sure yours is different since your flying out of the country. You should post that as a seperate forum since there are so many people that got it done in mexico, im sure they can help you big time!

@aug- i've heard a few people say that their doc isn't doing an endo....I dont know why some do, and some dont. Strawberry & sab, how cute!! you guys are sleever sisters!!!! Yea, thats what i have to get too. My Dr recommends the unjury unflavored to add to the gatorade or whatever....it is VERY expensive though...but its worth it lol I'm so nervous about the endoscopy and the catheter. for some reason im not worried about the after part. just the before and during

I have tons of clothes that dont fit either but they're maybe 30-50 lbs of not fitting size large and xl's that are too tight.....I figure size 11 should be pretty close to where i want to stay. (maybe) i wont know til I get there I guess. I got my list from the Doc of shakes I can use and how often. I made a mistake and ordered the smaller ones, so i have to buy a tub of the powder. I figured the RTD ones would be easier with my crazy hectic schedule so, I'll just use the powder when i'm home and the RTD while im busy. The Vitamins I got, were free lol. My boyfriend runs a Vitamin store . But I got the regular swallow pills instead of liquid of chewable. I hear the chewable calciums are good. and I usually have the gummy vitamins. Has anyone tried the liquid?? I also got gas x strips...and merderma. (for the scars...) a couple light cotton dresses for after surgery. I'll be staying in mytle beach in august so im probably not going to want to wear pants anyway, let alone right after surgery. I bought G2 gatorade for after but....i kinda drank it It was in my car and convient for work so......its pretty much gone. I'm getting so excited watching my ticker go from 6 months, to almost 2 *i changed my date from september so there was a jump from 6 months to 4, ut im already down to 2. * What are you guys most nervous about?
