  1. It would typically take more time than just a few days with the aleve...but the nurse should NOT had told you to take it. I wish you a better tomorrow!
  2. Hello! I just had Sleeving on Feb 8th. I was as well prepared going into surgery as I thought i could be, however, it was a rude awakening. The fatigue was crippling and at a point where those fluids had to get in. Somehow I made it past the worst of the days and seem to be getting better each day. I am also new to the site and am unsure how to add information about myself, such at the weight trackers at the bottom of each signatiure page. Any pointer would be great! After cursing myself for doing this a few days, I am now a bit more euphoric and am waiting for when I can have something other than Water, juice, broth and Jello. BLAH! Thanks!! Nicky
  3. Taking aleve after surgery is not a great idea. It is an antiinflammatory and they are very hard on the stomach. I am on day 6. On day 4 I wanted to die and completely regretted having surgery. It is still a struggle, I am tired, sore, etc, but it is SOO much better in just the 2 days. I was given liquid lortab, hycosamine (Levsin), famotidine and zofran for nausea. The Levsin has been my friend. Helps the gas bubbles a lot!
