I started losing hair at exactly four months out. I purchased Nioxin & it helped with the shedding. At almost 6 months out (on the 19th). It has stopped...good luck. Check out my latest YouTube video if you want to see the bottle. YouTube--Littlebits0604

Can you give me some daily menus you have chosen' date=' and how often do you exercise? You have done great! I stopped at thirty something, cause I bounce back and forth wit 4-7 lbs. I have been upping my Protein, and still losing hair, I'm tired all the time and have no energy! I need some support![/quote']
Take Biotin & get some Nioxin. These items really helped with my Hair loss. And, of course, you must take all of your Vitamins, eat your protein & get your liquids in...good luck!!!
Oh, if you look ay my most recent YouTube video, you can see what the bottles look like. Warning--they are expensive & beware of knock-offs online. YouTube--Littlebits0604

171 today. I have really slowed down my weight loss. I have had a lupus flare so I am not working out as much and need to work on my Water intake a little better but with the lupus flare and such high inflammation' date=' I am retaining a lot of water.I am rejoining a gym. I can eat more now too, I could use better choices in my life. For some reason I hate tuna now. Ever since surgery Tuna is rough on me and makes me ill. I have been eating a whole lot of eggs, that's my go to food when I have to cook food I can't eat (spaghetti, pizza) for the family. I also have messed up because I found a food that is not that good for me, that I like the taste of and it's something fast and easy and I need to cut it out. I have been eating hard salami & cheese (no bread) because it's fast and easy for lunch.< /p>
Sometimes if I don't chew well enough or eat just one 1/2 bite too much real dinner, I get a lot of slime still and have to walk around. I do know I have a problem with scar tissue in my esophagus from the issues with surgery.
I have to work a little harder is all.[/quote']
I'm 171 too! Hopefully, I will be out of the 170's when I weigh-in on Tuesday.

I'm 37 & my bf is 31. I say go for it!!! We have been together for almost 2 1/2 yrs...good luck & have fun!!!

I confess...- I haven't been to the gym in a month.
- I have weighed myself everyday this week (normally only 1-2x a week) because I'm SSSOOO close to the century club!
- I get really irritated with some people's "holier than thou" preachy' date=' opinionated attitudes on this site which makes me not post for fear of judgment and ridicule. Why can't we just all get along???
- I'm really sad about getting rid of all of my clothes. All I see is wasted (because I have A LOT of clothes).
- I've only told a few close friends this... I plan on staying single during this journey so I can see what kind of "ass I can pull" and truly enjoy the attention I get! [/quote']
Amen to #3. I left the site for awhile. It's funny how some of us lose weight & become judgmental experts...smh!!!

She first talked about her surgery on Bethenny Frankel's show this past summer. The link is either on Bethenny's site or YouTube. Plus, I wrote a thread about it back then...so, it's on here as well.

I'm down 38 lbs, as of last Tuesday. I saw the loss in my face & feet first. Now, I see it in my legs & upper body. This belly is slowly but surely starting to cooperate...

Sleeved June 19th & down 38 lbs...

I have not taken my diabetes or hypertension meds since prior to my surgery, June 19th. I feel like a totally different person!!! Good luck & keep is posted!

You're doing great!! I still haven't gotten into the 100's yet' date=' but I'm at 208. I'm getting a new bike today, and will be doing a lot of bike riding now that it's cooler outside. Also, I called my doctor's office and spoke with the nurse that has worked with me most of the time the past year through this whole process. Meaning, from the time I was first making a very big decision in my life. I first thought about the lap band, then after months of doing all that I had to do to make this possible, I thought to myself, I am not going to do this I can do it on my own. Well, proven fact, I couldn't do it on my own. Besides some of the meds I was on kept me from losing weigth, and the stress I was under with other things happening in my lfe.
I am glad that I made the decision to do this surgery, and she said I am right where I should be for my height, and weight. She also said that people who have loss the weight quicker are usually a lot heavier. I'm eating healthy, working out some...and...my clothes are fitting different. She said when you go up and down, that it could be from eating something salty, or Water retention. I would rather lose it a bit slower, then to have to all come off fast. Which that is what I thought would happen at first. I don't want my skin to sag. Also, she said....if you have 80 grams of Protein a day, you should have half of that in carbs. 60 grams-30 carbs. I was so worried about the carbs I was getting, and didn't want to overdue it. Now I feel much better, and I hope to be at 199 by the time I see the Dr. on the 27th. Yippie, maybe it will be even less. Good luck to all of you....Any weight lost, it a step closer to a healthy life, and feeling good about yourself. My mind and stomach don't see eye to eye yet, and I"m sure you now what I mean. but soon it will all connect!!!![/quote']
Thank you!!! You are doing great! I still can't get in all of my protein. I try, but it's really hard.

Surgery date was 6/19. My highest weight was 218. DOS my weight was 213. My current weight, as of last Tuesday, is 181.9. I'm really hoping to leave the 180's soon. Hopefully, on Tuesday. **fingers crossed**
Check out my YouTube videos @ Littlebits0604.
P.S. The first videos were horrible, but I'm getting the hang of things now.

I'm 185 and 5' 1". I wear a 16/18 now. In college I was 129 and wore a 9/10. Don't see me ever in a 4 but if I do' date=' you'll be able to hear me scream with glee wherever you are.[/quote']Never say never...I'm smaller at 181 (moving out of my size 12's) than I was at 160 (size 14). I'm losing my weight in different areas. Btw, our numbers are similar. I'm 5'...good luck throughout this journey!

OK' date=' I admit to weighing 100 pounds more than I weighed as a blushing bride in 1968. The 100 pounds bothers me but not nearly as much as the copious number of pills I take every day along with 45 units of lantus. Am I being realistic in expecting the diabetes to resolve itself with losing the 100 pounds and adding a reasonable exercise program? Can anyone say that it has worked out that way for them?[/quote']I'm almost 9 weeks post op. My doctor took me off of my Metformin several days before my surgery & told me to stay off post-op...good luck!

You look great!

I had surgery on July 24. I have been feeling great. I am in the middle of my second week of soft foods (per Doctors schedule) and am to be moved to "regular" in 4 days. After reading everyone else's post op diet I am nervous he is advancing me too quickly. My Doctors PA said she has not seen a leak in a sleeve pt there since she started working there 5 years ago. I am terrified of doing something to cause a leak. Would u follow doctors plan or do another couple weeks of soft foods? My doctor had me start mushies on day 3. I couldn't stomach them right away, but I did start on like day 8. At four weeks out, I was on regular food. I'm 8 weeks out (9 weeks on Tuesday) & so far so good! Good luck!
