  1. I don't own any full length mirrors and a little over a year ago we were at my Mother in-laws lake house...I took a shower and damn near the whole bath is full length mirrors....I looked at myself in HORROR....I thought My God this is what my husband see's....I came out of the bathroom in tears...sat down at the kitchen table with Mother in-law and hubs and cried my eyes out....what worries me with the weight loss is saggy skin...the only places on my body that are a bit "poogie" are my belly (not too much tho) and the insides of my legs (as well not real bad) so I am hoping with exercise that I will be able to tone those areas up...I see so many that have lost tons of weight and in clothes the look fabulous...I just wonder what they look like when the take off their "Spanks" or what ever they wear...I am 54 years old and have always been fit. Until I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2000 and that's when the weight gain started....Melanie(

    1 T. Peanut Butter

    Extracts:

    vanilla

    Butter-nut

Peppermint (I have used in chocolate Protein powder and loved it)

    pineapple

    Almond

    chocolate

    Cinnamon

    Hope this helps you!... Melanie:)

  3. I have always said I would give up sex before I would ever consider giving up my coffee! That being said, when I met with the nutritionalist I was told I would need to go to Decaf until 3 months after surgery..You have got to be kidding!!! Well I have been on decaf for a month and my surgery is this Monday! YIPPEE :) But I did have my last class yesterday. 4 hours long and met with the whole staff and finally got to meet my surgeon. Love, Love him!! I told him the only thing I really missed and the one thing that has been most difficult with the pre op diet is giving up my caffeine...He said "well that's one thing in our program that we aren't so concerned about." and he went on to say "we all need that lil kick in the morning you know!" I bout fell over dead. and to top that off I never thought to ask him how much I could have. Kicking myself in the A$$ now...I am used to drinking 4 cups in the morning. So what I am going to do is just one cup. With the sipping we have to do that cup will last me an hour and a couple of warm ups in the microwave!! :)

  4. Restless leg syndrome for one. I had a sleep study a couple of years ago. I do have sleep apena. I love my machine (some people would call me nuts) but they have come a long way! I know that because hubs was diagnosed over 10 years ago and had an old machine, mask, etc. He did another study when I did mine and he got a new and improved machine as well. I sleep fantastic and my restless leg is in check...

  5. That is Awesome!! I've got a new sister!! Yeah it is very sad about my sisters...there has been so much back stabbing over the years that I am much better off on my own...sad, but true...we have gone through this more times than I can count...one day maybe we will be close again...I have forgiven them for the hurt, but I won't forget..my husband does support me, but he would much rather see me lose the weight on my own with out surgery...I have Fibromyalgia and it is very difficult for me to work out...the best I ever felt was when I did Hatha Yoga and I am looking for a class near us....I will also be checking into Water (pool) type classes...I wish you the best with your surgery sis!! :)

  6. Good question....I am having my surgery next Mon. 27th and have had a cold/sinus thing for over a week...I don't know what to do...I too take Vit. C and get plenty of rest...I go to my last appointment tomorrow and I don't know if I should mention it to my surgeon or not...I was wondering if I did would he put me on an antibiotic...or postpone my surgery....hope you feel better soon...

  7. The only people that know about my upcoming surgery, ***this Monday the 27th*** :) are my two daughters, husband and one dear friend (who has not replied to my email) I asked him for his support and have heard nothing back from him...my oldest daughter did mention it to her boyfriends mother (who is the last person on Earth I would want to know)...such a gossip she is...both of my older sisters have had gastric bypass. My oldest sister has gained all her weight back and my middled sister has maintained her weight loss. Neither one of my sisters speak to me and live about 70 miles from me...I do not want to feel like I am living "under the microscope"...I have no other close family except my in laws and I don't know if hubs and I are going to tell them...
