I felt the same way I had surgery 03/08 and I think it's the pain that did it for me. I am slowly coming around but every time I get that pain in my stomach my regrets come back. I just kept asking myself why did I have to get surgery to be healthy why couldn't I just eat right on my own.

I had little to no pain with the band being put in or removed. The sleeve knocked me off my butt. My surgeon said it's normal but I have the worst pain on the left side of my stomach.

So far it's going good, the pain experience was defiantly different from the band.

I had my lap band done in January 2008 it worked good until I got pregnant. After I had my son last April it slipped. My surgeon wouldnt do it all in one sugary so I had my band removed November 2011 and was sleeved March 8th. Good luck with your surgery.

I had a hiatal hernia repair done too so maybe that has something to do with it.

I wasn't given restrictions for Protein I have only had three medicine cups of it but I'm going to stop until I verify with my surgeon on Monday. I really appreciate all the responses I am on a emotional roller coaster I hate pain. I have been through 3 csections a lap band put in and removed and this is the worst of all.

It happens with both warm and cold drinks. @ Rambo no I haven't I home now and having the pain. When I was drinking diluted juice at the hospital I was fine. I'm home drinking Water and Protein Shakes it hurts. How long does any pain last.
Thanks gor the responses

I'm glad you posted this because I'm in the same situation and I'm ready to just scream. I had surgery 3/08 and have only lost 15 pd since I have been going between 219 and 220 for about 5 days.
