Yes i had my gallbladder out a few years ago :-( do u think it could be severe gas and bloating? What are the symptoms of gas/bloating issues?

I forgot to mention im pretty regular, every day to every other day i have a BM.

Hi from Dallas here! I had my surgery with my husband on the same day 4 weeks ago to the day! We had ours together on the same day because my husband could only take 2 weeks off. To be honest, we did so well we didnt need any help from anyone. We walked together in the hospital to see eachother and it gave us motivation. We did need someone to drive us home but other then that, no help! Yall will do amazing! Who is your doctor? Im excited for yall! I too was tired of always being the fat girl, and my health problems.

I hope it works for u! It didnt for me :-( but the doctor called me in something and there healing and getting better but still itching unbarebly bad!

Im going through this right now with ya! Im itching so bad i wanna cry. I saw the doctore and she gave me a steroid cream but the tube of it was so small im almost out of it and ive only had it for a day!! But the redness and some rash patches r getting better.

I track protein and i have a 10-10 rule nothing over 10 grams of fat and 10 grams of sugar per meal. I get 60 grams of protein a day and i struggle with my drinks. I get usually around 40 something ounces :-( its hard for me.

Thanks yall! I am gonna wait until after 7 weeks. After 7 weeks the book says its ok to eat regular foods.

Hi yall im 4 weeks post op and was wondering if i can have a flour tortilla yet. It says i can have toast but im dieing for a soft taco! Lol :-)

I am so anxious/ worried u guys. Its sunday and the doc wont be in until tomorrow but ive been struggling with a few things i want to talk to yall about. First... I have a horrible rash around each incision site and it itches something fierce! So im completly miserable! I will post a picture of it for yall. Second... I notice my hands and legs/feet go numb when im in certain positions. My hands tingle and go numb when my elbow is bent and when im sitting (using the bathroom) my legs and feet go numb/tingle and if i adjust or move to a different position i feel it go away. Its just wierd!!!! Its happening alot. Im 4 weeks post op on tuesday and ive hit a stall and that has me down. My anxiety is through the roof and im scared as to whats wrong with me. I keep freaking out about getting a blood clot (they scare me to death) and my blood pressure was 166/102 pulse was 96. :-( im a huge mess falling apart! I need you guys :-(

I feel the same way :-( but i know it will get better! But man, i wish i could just snap my fingers and make this rash go away! Ive never been so itchy in all my life! I get really sad at mexican food restaraunts :-( im scared i wont ever b able to have some chips and salsa ever again :-(

Feeling better! But still having the numbness and tingling :-( rash still bad but doctor called me in some ointment called triamcinolone acetonide. And she wanted me to also put gold bond medicated lotion on it aswell. Im up 6 pounds and cried today but i called the nut and she said im doing everything right, its just my body adjusting and im about to start my monthly :-( im always so scared that ill be the first person to be sleeved and gain weight :-( instead of loosing

We ate out for the first time last night with my parents and i totally know how u feel! We r still on soft foods so i orderd soup and they had to order queso tortillas butter and enchiladas!!!! They never orderd queso before :-( when i could eat! I watched them shovel it in and i realised that use to be me but i ate 10 times the amount they were eating! But then when my soup came i slowly ate it and they were done when i wasnt even half way. And i took my spoon and took a little of there refried beans and my dad said HEY!HEY U CANT EAT THAT! No eat ur soup! And they were done eating when this happened!!!! I know its gonna b hell with my family because they will point out things i shouldnt eat and make cracks that im gonna get fat again. :-(. Its like they dont understand what im going through!

And as for the tummy noise... My cats have been looking at my belly like its another animal there! Lol

Im having the same issue. I think its gas. Do u have any gasx strips? They save me!

I was really sore aswell, the big incision on me hurt for 2 weeks post op. ice helped me a bunch and liquid tyonal

Ive lost about 40 pounds so far. I took my temp and it was 98.3. I took an ativan to try and calm down. I tried benedryl cream and it wasnt working :-( now im trying cortizone 10.

Thank you, im calling my doctor asap to get in with her in the morning. I feel like im falling apart over here. :.-(

Hey yall! Im 3 1/2 weeks out post op and im up 1.5 pounds! I walk 3 miles a day following the rules of the handbook on how and what to eat. My husband has stalled aswell! Its so hard getting on the scale and seeing that :.-( i just wanna cry! Is my sleeve failing me?

Congrats!!! How are you feeling? Are you doing ok? Im going to take yalls advice!

Finally made it to soft foods you guys! Im so excited!!! It is week 3 for us and wanted to ask yall for some soft foods ideas? I can have chili, any soup, lunch meat, meat loaf, meat balls (need help, never made them before) chicken and tuna salad, crackers, cheese etc..

Butterflygirl, do you live in texas? I have an extra surgical book i can give you that has everything! :-)
