  1. Tomorrow is surgery day for me. I am getting excited! I am sure I will be nervous tonight and not sleep a wink.

  8. Usually if you have done weight watchers they may wave the nutrition classes. but that is dependent on each facility. I am not sure about going through civilian hospitals. It has taken me nearly 1 year to get to the surgery. I am afraid it sounds like it may be too late.

  10. Yes, I had to write down all the diets that I have tried before. I hadn't done weight watchers though. I also had to do a nutrition class on base for 3 months prior to surgery.

  14. I was asked why I chose to have surgery, how long I have been thinking about it, as well as how much help I will have after surgery ( I have a 7,5 year old and 18 month old). I was lucky, my Psychologist had RNY a few years ago.

  17. Thanks everyone. I have to say that day 5 of the preop diet was really hard for me. I almost wanted to quit and resign to being fat the rest of my life! I was really hungry and cranky, lol. Then I had yesterday, day 6 , where I had a hard time getting in 500 calories, but I do always manage to get all my protein in. Oh well, only 1 more week, surgery is April 4th.
