  1. I was sleeved on the 20th 5 days post op. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with the whole food thing. I was told my nutrionist to eat six small meals plus water 64 ounces daily. Yesterday I downloaded an app on my phone to help remind me when to eat and drink. At times I don't want to eat but I find myself kind of forcing to eat at specific times so I don't eat too late at night. Then Im wondering what do I eat now I'm still on liquids which sucks not much choices. All I do is think about food and water. Anyone else feel this way! I also find myself mourning food like chips especially when watching a movie. Ugggh help! Besides this I feel great no pain, surgery went well I'm down 6 lbs post op. No regrets!
  2. Don't be afraid, I had the same thoughts even in the pre op waiting room in my gown. I told my husband lets go! I know the many thoughts that go through your head. You are doing the right thing pray before going pray while there. Think of your new life all the wonderful things you will be able to do, all the pretty clothes you will be able to wear. I'm praying for strength for you.
  3. Hi I'm five days post op and feeling great last night I slept without pain meds aside from the discomfort of incision and drain I am doing GREAT! Dr. Gellman is awesome took 2 hours for my surgery the worst thing for me was the gas pain in the left shoulder OmG that was killer but to be honest only lasted a few minutes nurses came in and medicated me then I started walking and it dissapeared. I love Charmaine and the nutrionist did you meet with them before leaving the hospital? They gave me this neat pillow.
