  1. Violet.hey I'm in CT too. I am trying to get together a wlsfa chapter. If ur interested let me know and other CT peeps. Its the weight loss surgery foundation of America. We need to the support each other on our journey s and learn and have fun. If ur not too sure about the wlsfa look it up.


  2. I am going on week 7 post op on Monday. I was 221 day of surgery and today 204. I actually had two weeks where I even went up in weight but I kept exercising and following the drs orders. And Lossed. The band is a tool. It helps u.but u have to do the work. Like a hammer u have to have the nail and the hammer will help u drove it into the wall. Getting banded changed my life. For the better.


  3. If you haven't heard of this yet it is.weight loss surgery foundation of America.look them up. Its a whole world of people who have went and going through it like us. I am going yo the meet n greet on may 18.19.20 in Las Vegas. Look them up!! My new family of support.


  4. I was Banded on 3/19. I am six weeks post op today I was 231 surgery day 221 two weeks post op 211. And for the last three weeks scene went up and down and up.as of today my scale says 208. I also exercise 45 minutes a day 6 days. I was crazy frustrated too. My calories were too low for me. I was eating lime 500 to 600. I ripped them too 800 to 900 and the past four days finally see the scale going back down. Time is what it takes.and go by the book. No excuses of whining is what I say.. its gonna come off. It has too.

    Thanks so much! I have read ur reply s three times. My Nutritionist only met with me 2ce.she doesn't really know me at all.she just throws ideas out there.I am not the type that gives up easily especially when i paid cash and have 5 kids. I know that my band is a tool and just at 5 weeks post op that it is going to be trial and error. I do know that my Nutritionist saying 300 to 600 calories is just not for me.I can't function. Also I have been eating like this for almost 9 weeks.and just since since Sunday upping my calories to 900 I am really killing it at the gym not just making by. So in a few days ill go to 1000.   7. Up until Sunday I was at 500 to 600. But hardly had energy for the gym and getting through the day.my nutricianist said that that's what t should be but still was gaining like a pound a week. So as of Sunday I am doing 800,to 900 and we will see how I do on Saturday again.

  8. Ok so Now that I am very confused.(lol)

    I am 210 pounds 5'3". And exercise 6 to 7 days a week.busy burning 550 calories when i exercise. Soo... what should my calories be as a banded lady???? I keep gaining. Not a lot I was at 207 two weeks ago. Now 210.


  9. I am 5 weeks post op today. Since my two week post op I haven't Lossed. I am working out 6 days a week.i am eating so good. Like 90 to 100 grams protein.100 oz of Water a day. Was only eating 500 calories a day. Started today eating a little more. Like 800 to 1000. Does anyone have any suggestions on helping me. I am thinking just increase and keep giving 100%.I get my first fill on the 1st.hopefully then I will start losing. This weight will come off soon enough. Its got too.


  10. I got banded on 3/19 too. I have been at the same weight for two weeks

    I do 45 at the gym every day. I also do resistance training 3 days a week. And nothing.i have upped my calories to 800 to 1000 thinking I might not be eating enough. I go to get fill on first of may. Hopefully they can answer why.but I still go on every day.
