  1. I was on depo about 7 yrs ago. I got my first shot and I bled every day for 3 months. Not good!!!!
  2. Oh. Did I mistake sams for Costco?? Hmmm. That's not good. Lol.
  3. Anyone know how much a case of the premier protein shakes are at Costco? I don't have a membership but I'll be hitching a ride with my cousin and thought I'd check them out since most seem to really like them. And how many come in a case.
  4. I feel ya!! I just posted this same issue on here earlier today titled 'cranky bitc...'
  5. You don't feel the restriction as much with soups. Which is why my doctor doesn't even want them part of my diet when I'm on full solids. This is my last week on mushy. You will feel the restriction when you progress to more solids.
  6. So I'm 3 1/2 weeks post and have noticed that I have a very short fuse lately. I've never been a moody person. I find myself yelling at my 6 yr old daughter for every little thing. I'm not happy about this. I feel like my hormones are out of whack. I don't feel depressed. I'm so thrilled with my decision and my progress so far. I just all of a sudden feel grouchy all the time. My daughter called me mean last night. . Like a knife to the gut. That got me and we need to fix this. I'm so not mean!! Lol. What gives ?
  7. Omg there's so much you can have on this stage. I'm still on my puréed. I eat tuna w a lil mayo. I put it in my mini food processor to make it extra creamy. Delicious. I do the same with chicken. You can have fat free refried beans with some shredded cheese. Delicious. Greek yogurt. Cottage cheese. Pretty much anything you would be willing to purée.
  8. Love it! My boss( who is a guy) tells me every few days how awesome I'm looking. It's such motivation for me. He knows what I had done. I lost a llot of weight prior to surgery, so people were already noticing. I love when people are NOT afraid to say ' wow you've lost wright, you look great!' music to my ears
  9. I bought milk of magnesia today. I have miralax too. I just took the mag lets see if it works.

  12. Yes!!!! I would be much more comfortable having a trainer who knows what im going through. Someone whos been in my shoes. I wouldn't be embarrassed working out in front of a trainer like that.
  13. Yes!!!!! That was the first thing I ate. Exactly how u described. It was delicious. Enjoy !!
  14. Hi pappa! He is, but is not 'active' on it much. I think afterwards he will start to utilize it. I love it! I can't do this without it!!!
  15. Ooh no I wish!! Lol. That's my total weight loss since August, I put myself on a diet to lose as much as I could prior to surgery. Ive lost about 15 since surgery. Slow on the scale but the inches are showing.
  16. Hi there. I'm 35, married with a beautiful 6 yr old daughter. Last summer I looked in the mirror and was so unhappy with the reflection I saw looking back at me. That night I told my husband that I wanted to have surgery. I didn't know anything about the sleeve. Never heard of it. He was so supportive that he decided to it as well, together. I was 399lbs and he was 325. From that point on I out myself on a diet and lost 70lbs. We researched all the weight loss surgeries and decided the sleeve was what we wanted. I had mine done April 9 and it was the best decision of my life. I'm 321 now and have LOTS more to go. But I feel great. My hubby is going in tomorrow!! This is the best thing you will ever do for yourself. Best of luck to you!!!
  17. My hubby is having his surgery tomorrow morning. I'm so happy and am excited that we are doing this together. I was sleeved on April 9 and I feel amazing. I pray that he has the same recovery as me! I love you babe and can't wait to get skinny with you!! Xoxoxo
  18. My fitness pal RULES!!!!!! Add me if you'd like jenniferdhenin is my user name.
  19. My doc told me to do 3 meals a day, and a lite snack if needed. I think it's good to be on a 3 meal a day routine. Because that seems normal to me. That's what ppl do.
  20. Unfortunately it's hard to tell someone how much time they should take. I took a week and a half. I felt great to go back. Desk job. Some ppl though have a more difficult recovery.
