I, too, am a busy mom. I use the wii fit plus to work out. I love the yoga, and my kids sometimes join in.

ShouldBlittler replied to Gintobethin's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi. My highest weight was 215. I lost weight during the two week diet before surgery, but I'm not sure how much. I would assume about 10 pounds. That would make me around 205 on the Day of surgery. I am now 144. I had the surgery June 20. -
Today I was 144! That makes a loss of 71 pounds for me with 29 pounds left to go! Surgery: June 20,2012 High weight: 215 Goal: 115 Current weight: 144 Height: 5 foot 1 Current size: 8 with medium tops

Anyone experience this?

I STILL can't drink water and I am 6 months out. What helps me is my morning smoothie. I blend a lot of ice in it. I drink it all day and it gets my fluids in. -
That is heartbreaking! I'm so sorry to hear that. My friend just finished with all of her chemo and everything from breast cancer. She's on her way to getting a sleeve now, just as you will be .... just a little delayed. I'm so sorry.

Great idea! It would be helpful ( to me) if people posted pictures of their meals so I can compare what I am eating.... -
Before I had the operation, I ate so much that I finally felt full. I knew that it would be the last time in my life that I would eat that way. I'm glad I did it because by the time I got the surgery, I was so disgusted with myself I was absolutely ready for the big change.

That's what I do for my workout. I am addicted to the Yoga section! It was a FINE, FINE day when the snide little voice FINALLY chirped, "That's overweight!" My new goal is to hear the next snide remark... That's a good weight?

Anyone Else Sick Of Leaning?
ShouldBlittler posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
As of today, I have lost 58 pounds with 42 more to go.I knew when I was fat that I often subconsciously leaned on things to support me as I maneuvered through the day. It wasn't until recently that I realized the extent of this habit. This morning as I was showering, leaning on to the wall of the shower, I told myself to straighten up and stand firmly on my 2 feet. I'm hoping to eradicate this habit from my repertoire ! Anyone else?
