Wow! We should all be proud of ourselves. I was so sore yesterday my legs were killing me, I went on a long walk today and am feeling better. I can't wait to go again this week

So I took my 1st Body Pump class tonight and OMG my legs and arms are so exhausted... It hurts to go up stairs or to lift my arm...but don't mind ...its something I never would have done before and after class I even stayed and biked for 30 min..
I'm actually enjoying exercise crazy
And before when I would bike or trendmill 30 min seemed so long today on my own it was like a breeze and I kept making myself do sprints. I have gotten into spin classes!

I use it, I like it. It is a thicker drinkable yogurt. I have only tried strawberry flavor from Trader Joes. I mix 1 cup, 1 frozen banana and some ice for a smoothy. It does usually clean my system out....if u get the hint....
Overall though I like it and it is higher in Protein and I disliked the powders.< /p>

Yes and no.You really do not want to be eating soft mushy stuff' date=' even if it is only just a little bit, because it defeats the secondary purpose of the sleeve, which is KEEPING you full. In the beginning this doesn't really matter, but later on when things are going more smoothly those three bites of whatever it might be (for me, its cheesecake) turns into 4 bites, and guess what? ten minutes later you'll be able to have another 4 bites... before you know it, you've thrown down ALMOST like you used too with 2 moderately sized pieces of cheesecake... Not that I would know anything about that....
Now, that being, said, yes, most of your days are going to look like normal foods, but just bear in mind that you should still avoid certain things because of their consistency.[/quote']
Amen! Haha all of the above is true. I

I started spin about 4 mth out and I love it. I was scared to go but after my first 2 classes I was in the groove. I took my class through my community rec center and so my instructor took time to show us what to do and explain things he says, there's a lingo. I only have 2 classes left but don't want to quit, so I think I am going to look into a gym....

Hello' date=' seems I'm a bit late to the party too.My name is Rebeca, I'm a pre-op kaiser permanente patient. I'll either have Dr. Salameh or Dr. Mayes over at the Virginia Hospital Center.
Kaiser decides for you, or else I'd of gone with Dr. Mozzaze (spelling?) at Blue Point as I liked him and the Fair Oaks Hospital is much closer to my house.
There is a Kaiser Permanente Support group next Tuesday the 26th at the Fair Oaks Kaiser that's free and open to anyone kaiser or not. I'll be there in a bright green dress if you want to say Hi!
I friended as many DMV people as I could, so I'd have a lifeline if I needed it. Please accept?
Thanks!

Hey I live in Fairfax. I had surgery with Dr. Moazzes at fair oaks. I'm about 7 mth out now. I wish I could come to the support meetings but my husband teaches at night so I'm on baby duty. If u need anything or have questions please ask I wish I knew more people around here that are having or have had the surgery.

Sounds like u r ready
I only stayed at the hospital for one night and what I really used was pants, after i was up and about I put loose pants on and was so happy. You also walk around so the pants come in handy. Also socks or slippers, and a hair clip and head band. I didn't take a shower at the hospital so my hair looked crazy and it helped me feel better to put it back. I could have stayed 2 nights and looking back maybe I should have, my first day and night home were the worst one, I was so nauseous and felt horrible...7mths out now and it is the best decision I ever made !!

You do have to be careful after about the 6 mth mark .... I am 7 mth out and real food like meat, veggies and fruit fill me up quick but junk like crackers and chips I can still eat more of, less than I could eat before. So I am still working of my self control and food addiction.... The sleeve definitely helps with this but you have to make changes yourself too

I did. The week before my preop diet I ate out at all my fav restaurants and ate all my fav stuff....now I'm 7 mth out 90 lbs down and I don't regret having my food funerals....

I'm also worried about the sagging! But has anyone noticed there fat changing? My fat feels squishy like my belly did after I had my babies...lolAnyone else have squishy fat? Or will admit to it...lol
I do! My arms and thighs and tummy feel more squishy, like grandma arm skin... I guess its still better than what it was before

You are right, I need to suck it up no more excuses

I want to sign up for this spin/plates community exercise class...but I'm nervous I'm 3 months out and have lost around 50lbs, but all I have been doing is walking. Will this class kick my butt, is it not the right choice to get started real exercise with? And my friend wants to do it with me and she is in much better shape than me so I don't want to look like a fool....

I had to do it for 2 wks, 14 shots. But I actually stopped on day 11. In the beginning I got used to them and they didn't hurt, but the last few I did were like the most painful thing. I think by then I was bruised and sore all over my abdomin. My husband gave them to me.

I had like 4 bites of cheesecake. It was good, but it hurt me like 10 min layer. Right now I can't handle things that sweet and rich.
