  1. No wonder I was thin in my high school years! (such memories of make out sessions!)
  2. I will be sleeved on March 23rd. There are so many things! I will be a great-grandma any day now, and I have 5 grandchildren, ages 3, 14, 17, 20, and 22. One of my personal goals is to be able to go to Disneyland and not have to sit own every hour, to be able to keep up with my family.
  3. Dr. Umbach is my surgeon, and I am self-pay. Luckily, though, my insurance covered all my pre-op lab work. Have you received your packet from Dr. U. yet? If not, in it you will find the release form to be signed by your primary care dr. On the form it lists the tests Dr. U. requires. When I took it to my PCP he ordered all the tests for me, and I just had the co-pay to pay.
  4. And I love your testimony!
  5. "With God, ALL things are possible.". Matthew 19:26
  6. So glad to hear of your experience. He is also my doctor, and my surgery is March 23rd. My husband and I both have been impressed with him and his staff. It will be nice to follow your progress.
  7. Never mind! I just looked them up, not knowing that HEB is a grocery store! LOL! We don't have them here in Southern Nevada!
  8. Where did you buy them?
  9. There seems to be a pattern here! Congratulations to each of you!
  10. I have not had my surgery yet, but I would say, "Read, read, and read some more....praying through it all. Read the good and the bad, so you don't go into it half/blind.
  11. What wonderful news!!
  12. LOL! I can totally relate to everything you said!
  13. Very cool! The app. AND your progress!
  14. Great job! What an inspiration to each of us.
  15. What a wonderful testimony! Thank you for sharing!
  16. My dr recommends taking a probiotic one month post-op. My surgery isn't until March 23rd, though, so I haven't asked for recommendations yet.
  17. I should clarify "Any Whey" is the brand name.
  18. As anyone tried this? From what I am reading, it can be mixed with anything for a protein boost. TIA.
  19. If you have a Trader Joe's, they have almond meal.
