I'm discouraged also! The amount of food & calories I have each day should equal weight loss, but not happening. I'm 4 1/2 wks too; only down 5 pounds

good luck - with this website we can all help each other - my surgery is 3-30 - I'm afraid I will fail also, but together we can encourage each other - god bless all of us and give us the strength we need!

most doctor offices will help you with the appeal process; if your doesn't, maybe another doctor will help you out. I read most appeals go through if you want to go through the hassle. There's also a book, weight loss surgery for dummies, that tells you how to appeal. hope this helps.

wow, I don't know how I missed knowing about the pre-op diet! I'm waiting on my insurance approval, so after that comes in I see my doc. I guess that's when I'll start my pre-op diet. Good luck everyone - I know I'm going to need it!
