  1. I also hate the whole pill thing, it makes getting sick a pain. I also never considered that when I got the band, but I just go with what "love" said, get childrens medicine and adjust to how much you need. I always use liquid kids medicine when I have a cold etc. You may have to take more, but it works like a charm
  2. I also had the shoulder pain, its nothing to worry about, it goes away
  3. I personally bought a big pack of juice boxes from costco and survived on that for the first couple weeks, make sure your giving your tummy time to heal. You don't want a slip :/
  4. At my center, they said, to eat crunchy things but also you just have to see what you can tolerate. If I had to eat crunchy veggies all the time I would die, I eat a lot of soft foods, and have no problems with hunger etc. They never made me list off what I ate to a dietician, it was based on how full I felt etc. when getting a fill. Hahaha, if I had that, I would have lied to the dietician too!!
  5. So when I first got the band, I was dissapointed, I felt no restriction at all, and wondered for quite a while if it was a total waste of money. It took me probably about a year to finally feel the right amount of restriction. I had absolutely no restriction at the beg. or for a while. You will be hungry, I only lost around a few pounds a month for the first while. It takes a while to feel that restriction, but now I am sooo happy I got it done. I can finally fit into all the tiny clothes, I always wanted too. SO in summary, I just want to say, hang in there!! You're just barely starting the journey, and make sure your sticking things that won't irratate your stomach. Good luck! If you ever have any questions feel free to message me, I've had it a while now, and I just joined the forum today
