That is crazy! I had my first appointment on jan 31st and I have my surgery tomorrow. If you are in a larger area I might be looking for a new surgeon if I were you.

I can't believe the day is almost over. I check in tomorrow morning at 5:30 (yuck) with almost a 2 hour drive to get there (double yuck), but I haven't even had time to "stress" about it because I have been so busy today. I am not the slightest bit nervous, just super excited. Glad to hear everyone banded is doing well and best of luck to all of those coming up! -

To Mrs. Curtis, thanks so much. I am not nervous at all and in past situations have had a very high tolerance for pain so I hope that holds true this time also. To Rnb24, grieve like you should. For many of us food has been our "friend" until we got to a point that it wasn't anymore (overweight). I know I will feel the same way---sad and angry probably but it will all be worth it soon. -

Surgery tues and I am so excited. Hearing everyone's successes has been very inspiring. -
I am scheduled to be banded next Tuesday and would love it if you all could share what exactly you found you used/needed following your surgery. Please include things like gas x or anything else you can think of. I read bits and pieces here and there but would love a comprehensive list all in one place. Thanks.

Hello all, I am newly registered although have been following for about a week. I too will be banded in feb. 2/21 to be exact and am a little nervous. I am self pay because I do not meet the ins criteria so my biggest fear is that I will have spent this money for yet another thing that does not work for me. I have no problem with food restriction or exercise so I hope I have made the right choice.
