Congratulations! I am in complete agreement with the first reply. You are going to do great as long as you listen to your body and band. I just delivered my son on 1/29 and everything about him is perfect! Losing weight can now be my focus again, before it was about a healthy pregnancy.

I'm glad to have found people I can relate to. I had my surgery in July 2011. I was not prepared for my Christmas gift. I found out I was pregnant in December. I'm 12 weeks 3 days. My band feels a little tighter and I have to be careful to chew very good. Thank God I don't have any morning sickness. I have had three ultrasounds. The last one showed a very busy little baby. The doctor said the baby was doing well.
I didn't have to sign a contract. My doctor told us that 90% of their patients that want to get pregnant, do so the first year. We just didn't think we would be a part of that group. But here we are. This is the first child for my husband and I. I pray everyday for a healthy baby and a safe pregnancy. I'm happy for everyone and wish everyone the best in their pregnancy journey. I hope we can share more stories with each other.
