Its been about a week since I have been on here. Nothing has changed much except for the fact I am getting more and more anxious to start the procedures in order to have my surgery. I was supposed to go for my sleep study tonight but I rescheduled for tomorrow and I also have my lap band discussion tomorrow as well. Hopefully it will be a meet and greet to some new friends in my area that also will be having the surgery. I wanted Ryan (my husband) to go but since I will be having my sleep study at the same place within hours of each other I will be going alone which I am okay with. At first I was nervous about all of this but I am so focused and ready to make these changes. Everything is going so well for me and I feel the timing is perfect!! I brought a new car on Monday and I have been showing more interest in wanting to get my family into church and also with the lap band dieting I'm just hoping I am not making too many changes all at once but for some reason I feel I am being called to do it NOW!! This site is such an inspiration. Everyone is so supportive and just reading their stories and looking at their pictures gives me the confidence I need to stay focused. I don't know who will be reading this but I'm proud of each and every one of us that is or has made this change..... Until next time..
  10. Hello Linda. Congratulations on your weight loss. I was able to make an appointment with the hospital which is on Feb 9 I am so excited for the changes to come.

  15. Hey y'all my name is Shawnte, I am 34 years old and I am ready to begin a new lifestyle change. I am over weight and have been for some time now. I have started diets and didn't complete them. I have gone to the gym which was also a fail. I am familiar with the lap band and recently had my PCM put in a referral. Good news is I received my approval letter and now I am so anxious to get this ball rolling. My husband will be deploying soon and what a better time to focus and take better care of myself. I have a few questions like starting what do I do now?!? I did attend a seminar a while back ago and have no problem attending another one. Any input or advice is greatly appreciated. I am looking for inspirational stories as well as becoming friends with anyone that has had or getting ready to have the lap band procedure.
