  11. Thanks, this is such a great thing. How can anyone be negative...... Ouch! Oooo that's right it hurts! Lol but seriously I feel great. I'm wasting away reading all these awesome stories about success.
  12. I'm so excited. 4 days and I've lost 9 lbs. seriously this is like a dream. still a little sore but that scale was well worth it.
  13. I was banded on March 27th, we can do this!!!
  14. I'm also 35, so we have a lot in common. We can do this
  15. I also was banded on March 27th I'm excited to take this journey with you. I'm 4 days post op and down 9 lbs. I had my surgery done in Pittsburgh Pa, which is near my West Virginia home.
  16. Amber, she's right everyone heal different. Being emotional and moody is normal. I too have told my family over and over that I'm sorry and that I love them. I guess it's the hormones but I keep apologizing for stuff. I have a type 1 diabetic 4 year old son, so I was determined to get up and move around probably faster then I should have. He needs me mobile. Let your body tell you how fast you need to recover. It's your journey. Even though our destination is the same, how we get there is different. I'm sure I'll have to be told the same. But embrace the change and emotions involved.
  17. I was stressed as well but don't worry, it's not bad. I do wish I would have stopped drinking coffee and caffeine ahead of time. The headache from withdrawal from caffeine could have made this better. But I'm moving around good. Actually went shopping today for an hour. I'm feeling healthier and it's only day 3. Also I stepped on scale and was shocked, I'm down 5.4 lbs. I'm so happy. I'll try to update my process and if you have any questions feel free to ask.
  18. Day 3, still sore but the more I move the better I feel, no hunger and even though I had to make breakfast for the family, a little sugar free jello helped stay full and did not make the smells of food unbearable.
  19. March 27th banded good luck, I'd love to keep each other motivated.
  20. Good luck, I'm on day 2 and still sore. Only recommendation is to get off caffeine before. I have a yucky head ache that could have been avoided
  21. Thanks so much, I'm still trying to figure out this forum..... Meds aren't helping lol. I just keep getting confused. I can't wait to see the weight melt off.
  22. Thank you do much, I can only take tiny sips of broth and water right now. Is that normal
  23. Thanks for replying, I'm excited for my new journey and stoked that I found this forum. How is your progress at 19 days? Wild and Wonderful WV girl
  24. Day 2 post opp, ouch! Needs some words of strength and wisdom.
