  1. I worry about dehydration. Nutritionist says we need more liquid with heat and excercise. I've had same issues too. Just light headed...she said to try ice Water with a small amount of orange juice.

    I'll try that next time... Just doesn't seem like you could ever get enough Water in this heat. I'm in south Florida!


  2. Nope never had hbp. I think it was the heat and not properly hydrated. Went swimming today with the kids- couldn't get much exercise cause they followed me all over the pool! I'm sure I probably burned a little bit of calories.


  3. I got a little work out today. I think I did to much and it was extremely hot outside. I was putting sand along the sides of our above ground pool. My arms feel like Jello. I had to stop cause I was seeing stars! Talk about being out of shape! Whew I got a long way to go. Wonder how many calories I burned.


  4. We got a above ground pool and had them dig a hole so the pool could go under 2 feet. Well they didn't put the sand back because my hubby says he was going to do it. Soo I thought to be helpful I would go and start refilling the space a long the side of the pool! Why did I do that ..... I started seeing stars- felt like I was going to faint after 30 min in the sun doing it and my arms feel like jello! Talk about being out of shape!!!! Wonder how many calories I burned?

  6. My Dr. Didn't give me a fill. I'm not sure I need it, I find that the Protein that I eat per day makes me feel so full. I feel stuffed! I was told to eat at least my 3 meals even if I'm not hungry. Also said to eat all protein first then eat veg if I'm not full.

    Lady Scorpio- I had that same concern. I need to find out because if the plication is working well and I never get a fill but 6-12 months later I need one. Also I need to find out is there an amount you get per year thats included. I don't know why I didn't ask those questions before .


  7. Thanks for sharing everyone.I haven't had a fill yet & I'm not sure if I want one. Although I would love to lose quickly I know it's not the best way. I also don't ever want to have food stuck.i think I'll only get a little fill & go from there. You make a good point to let your body do the work. Even though we all want it now. I'm encouraged to keep moving even if it's only 1 pound a week. Keep up the good work everyone.

    You are doing great! Better to lose slow than not at all. Besides it gives your body time to keep up with your progress. Most of the time when people lose too fast it comes back fast because of poor eating habits. I'm taking this time to learn and live my new healthy lifestyle. I'm glad you are doing well keep it up!


  8. Hello all... Glad to see everyone is doing well! I went to my appt yesterday and I didn't lose anything and no fill yet. I'm thinking I need some help with my selection of food. I need to start planning so I can start losing. My Dr. Was not too concerned says I'm still healing. He also told me to reduce my carbs to 30 per day since I'm starting regular foods. Seems like when I was on mushies it was lots of carbs. I go back in 3 weeks. Wish me luck!


  9. Hey group' date=' how's everyone doing? Just thought I would pop in and say hi. I'm doing good although very "restricted" but that is OK, I was a BAD girl so I am now paying the price. I have dropped 7 pounds in 12 days so you can tell I am not eating much. OK to start exercising today (since toe surgery) and I am looking forward to that - it is time to sweat a bit. Hope everyone is having a good week.

    Hello there! You are doing awesome....I gained 3 lbs. I'm on regular food now. Between mushies and starting reg food on Sunday. I'm not eating over 1000 cal a day. I'm using the lose it app and I've noticed I was having to many carbs. Gotta work on that. I can definitely say the plication is restricting me from eating a lot. I can only eat half of a turkey burger. My focus is to reduce the carbs and see what happens. It's my Tom so that could be a reason too for the gain. I'm not going to be discouraged going to my appointment tomorrow . Sorry for rambling! Hope everyone is doing great...
