  1. I'm still away from home at work, so I haven't been to a walmart yet, to see if they are there. I haven't been shedding as much lately.
  2. Over the edge of what? I'd rather hear the truth, than platitudes.
  3. I'll check Walmart. Thanks
  4. Ok. I'll take a look. I'm in Canada though, so we've got completely different pharmacies here. Thanks
  5. I only get salon dye jobs now. I'm not co-ordinated enough to do it myself Thanks for the info on Biotin. I'll look for it. Are you guys getting it at a pharmacy, or at a specialty foods store?
  6. I practically lived on hummus in the puree stage, along with the smooth tofu (it has a yoghurt texture). My husband blended some chicken for me the first day I was allowed to have it, and it made us both gag. I just couldn't do that texture/smell combination.
  7. So I am almost 3 months post op, and down about 10 pounds since surgery. I'm eating well (95% of the time) and getting at least 80 grams of Protein everyday. 2 days ago, I noticed my hair has started falling out in almost clumps! I just finished my period, and I wonder if hormones play a part in this as well. I already have thin hair, and I don't want it to get worse! Any tips? I did get my hair cut and dyed a few weeks ago as well, but that hasn't ever caused an issue before.
  8. I am so glad to see that this thread is about weightloss, and not a death in the family. Way to go guys!
  9. I got liquid morphine, and it worked wonderfully. Initially, I was on liquid codeine, but it didn't handle all of my pain, and I wound up back at the hospital a few days later, where I was prescribed the morphine. I only had to take 3cc's at a time, which was 1/3 of the max dose they said I could safely take at home. I did get stoned from it though, so if you are prone to abuse/withdrawal stuff, maybe it wouldn't be a good option either.
  10. Have you been tested for IBS? I have it, and sometimes I suffer with stomach pain, and it is made worse with stress too. Whatever it is, I hope you find some relief. Have you had allergy testing done?
  11. I have five, 4 small ones (one right below my bra), and 3 in line with my larger incision in the upper part of my abdomen. I don't have a belly button incision.
  12. Mine is about 2 inches below the large incision, but closer to middle, above my belly button.
  13. I'm sorry, but I don't understand. Perhaps you could fix the typos, spelling errors, and add some grammar and white spaces.
  14. I seem to be like that as well. If it gets hot, I get tighter for sure.
  15. What a good-looking couple!
  16. I have a lump of scar tissue and 'lumpy fat' under my largest scar, but it isn't the port, as I originally thought. It might be the same thing, so try not to worry
  17. I had surgery in Vancouver with Dr. Mitchell in Vancouver in April. I was very happy with him, and the rest of the surgical team. Best of luck to you!
  18. I happen to not agree that God has a part in my journey, but I've just been skipping over your posts, as opposed to reading them, and getting worked up or offended. I wish you all the success, and I'm glad that you've found motivation, even if I don't share the same beliefs.
  19. Maybe the lap band site has what you are looking for? http://www.lapband.com/en/live_healthy_lapband/months_beyond/lifestyle_guidelines/
  20. I've never had that, sounds awful. Were you able to get a fill? I don't know that many doctors numb people before giving a fill though.
  21. I think it sounds like you are making excuses for him. He sounds controlling, or at the very least, a non-supportive a-hole.
  22. I agree with those that posted earlier. Sounds like you have outgrown him. I would make sure that you have other support people in place after surgery, because it doesn't sound like he is reliable.
  23. I had 5ccs in my 10cc band at surgery. My first fill was 0.8ccs, but I found that it was borderline too much at once, as I couldn't burp well for a day. Now I get .2ccs at a time, just more often.
