I walked/jogged 1.5miles yesterday.....can barely move today,but plan on doing it again this evening:wink2:

I am 5weeks PO.I was in an 8/10 pre-op and now in mostly 7/8.I have some swelling under my arms and on my back flank area from lipo but I have not suffered too much from the swelling.I was in jeans with my binder on and drains tucked in at Luby's on PO day 6.

I am using the micropore tape by itself.I am very impressed!!! I have a very raised rope like area in the front and when I took the tape off today it was flat!!! Now it probably would raise again some if I left the tape off but I replaced it.It was wonderful though,to see my "worry" spot flat!!! Hopefully it will do the trick!

I have been at my "sweet spot" since July and had surgery 2/22.I left my fill alone. I was too scared to get unfilled!!! I had no problems after surgery with my band:smile:

Steph....Thank you! I am doing much better and it gets better daily:wink2: I have been lucky and have not suffered from much swelling.I will take some more pictures next week.I am putting micropore tape on my scar to try and reduced the raised areas so hopefully next week my scar will show some improvement. Karey....I am glad the wedding dress drama was solved!!!

Hey Karey! My entergy level is ok...not much choice between,baseball,softball,dance and a 1yr old:crying: I still feel like my lipo area/inc under my arms and my flanks are on fire at the end of the day but it does get better day by day. R/t the wedding dress issue.I would def be getting a refund!!!That is way too much money to spend on a dress that is "not the one" Speaking of wedding dresses,I tried mine on the other day and it was too big:thumbup:I will be married 12yrs in June so I was excited!

I had a Extended TT/Lipo of several areas/BL and went home the same day.I lived out of town so I stayed at a near-by hotel.My Dr was Great and sent 2 of his nurses to follow my husband and I to the hotel and get me settled in.It was just fine...my husband is a nurse so he drove me nuts to turn/cough/deep breath and to get up and walk every couple of hours so it was like I was at the hospital:sneaky:

Karey-Thank you.You can not tell but my back is also swollen right above the underwear line and VERY tender from Lipo. marybrid19- If you click on my makemeheal link you will see a picture of me from the "bent over view"...that was the deciding factor!!! I need to do a comparision picture now next to that one but I am going to wait for my scar to heal a little longer.

Thanks for checking!! I am feeling better everyday..although today was a bit rough but I think it was from holding my daughter in church all morning.She would not go to anyone else!I am posting a picture of my 1month progress.I can't believe it has already been a month.Time flies!!!!

I used Dr Adam in Webster near Houston.I had been at goal since Christmas so just around 2 months.Good Luck with your journey!!

LOL!! We did about 1week PO but it was one night after I took Percodan and Valium so I would not call it Sex.LOL My poor husband ..... it is very dificcullt to have sex without hurting me.My Lipo spots are all so very sore!!!

Hey StepC,Sorry about the big picture and the goofy face but you can see my scar a couple of inches above my belly button.He had orginally told me it would be inside my bellybutton but I new there was no way that would be possible:rolleyes2:

before lapband...it would have been nice to skip the lapband part:wink2:

HIi Karey, I am just still very sore and still having a hard time standing straight.I do have some swelling,but not much.I am just very achy sp? It is hard to describe:rolleyes:Best way to describe it is I feel like I have been beaten with a baseball bat sliced in half and put back together:confused_smile:I have 3 little ones so it has been hard for me to just relax so I think this has effected my recovery.I am really not a wimp either,I had my 1st baby with no epidural and have done great with other surgeries.Post Op Blues...big time!!!I am sure you will be fine in a couple of weeks!!!

I only had to travel 1.5hrs.I just wore the garment when I did not have a bathing suit on(you can see the marks from my garment on the one with my pink bathing suit)I was swollen from the trip..I weighed 4lbs heavier last night when we got home than I did this morning. Have fun in Puerto Rico!!!

I am so not a tatoo person and got that one on a drunk night in my early 20's and was VERY glad to see it go..so no more for me any time soon!! I am still trying to stand up straight,it truly feels like I am going to split in two!!!

That makes me feel better that our "ridge" is similiar because I like your Drs explaination for the ridge.Because I do not think mine is because of swelling(I was down to 136 today:ohmy:)I am just going to try and not worry for a while ..atleast a week .LOL I told my husband if the margaritas do not make me feel better on vacation then I am just giving in and taking my pain med during the day,because I do not want to be miserable the whole vacation.I do not take my pain med during the day just at night but I am miserable during the day with the "stiffness feeling" I have read so many post that everyone was off thier pain meds so soon .I feel like a druggy needing them on week 3 :sad: I cried to my husband yesterday(who did not want me to do this) "Why did I do this" and he said just be patient and you will be so happy! I was so suprised by his response but am trying to keep that in mind!!!!
