  1. I'm in the hospital with blood clots in both legs. Kinda scary but I'm glad I followed my instincts and came to the ER when the pain got bad. *sighs*

  2. I'm not entirely sure why or how, but the carb cycling has killed my appetite far beyond what the band itself normally does. I have to remind myself to eat or I forget entirely.

  3. I'm officially 40 years old today. Originally I dreaded leaving my 30's but now I look forward to my 40's. I think this is going to be the best decade yet.

  4. I'm officially out of plus sized clothes. I'm so happy.

  5. I'm only 2 pounds from the 150 pound loss mark. Soooo close! lol

  6. I'm realizing how important the compression garments after a tummy tuck. Just in the time it takes to have a shower I swell up a lot but the compression binder brings the swelling right back down. I don't like wearing it but it's definitely doing it's job.

  7. I'm so ready to be off this liquid diet!! I never thought mushie food would sound so awesome! lol

  8. I'm so sorry to have worried so many and I will respond to all your PM's soon. I am alive. I spent the last 8 days in the ICU with severe clotting in my both my legs. I just got home today and will make a blog post explaining it all soon. But I am ok :)

  9. I'm trying something new, a little experiment with my diet. Carb cycling. I will report all my findings in a week!

  10. I'm watching "600 Pound Mom" and how this woman is trying to lose 100 pounds to have Gastric Bypass. It's just heartbreaking to watch her struggles.

  11. I'm watching "Half Ton Mom". This poor woman weighs almost 900 pounds. This is just mind blowing.

  12. I'm watching "Obese & Expecting". Very scary, especially since I was like this when I had my son.

  13. I'm wearing a cute sun dress and sandals to have date night with my boyfriend. It still makes me downright giddy to look in the mirror and feel like I actually look good. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my band!

  14. I've decided I'm buying a bicycle. Should be interesting, I haven't attempted to ride one in 20 years! LOL

  15. I've decided I'm spending the next couple days doing yard work since I'll be unable to lift for quite awhile after Wednesday. It's beautiful outside and I love working on the yard so it's a good thing :)

  16. I've decided my body has no idea what it's doing. I have good restriction and struggle to lose for weeks, but then I have surgery and my band messed with, and the weight is falling off. I think my metabolism is bipolar.

  17. I've decided to cut my calories to help make up for my current inactivity. I'm determined to keep losing despite the fact I can't walk right now.

  18. I've felt nauseous all day. I think I caught a stomach virus from watching over my grandma who's been sick with it. I'm glad I still left over nausea meds on hand.

  19. I've gone from a 52" bra to a 36" bra. That's 16 inches. WOW!!!

  20. I've never blocked someone on here before. If you block them, can they not see your posts or only that you can't see theirs?

  21. Ignorance isn't bliss when it comes to health. Please, take responsibility and educate yourself about the band BEFORE you leap headfirst into surgery.

  22. Ignorance isn't bliss, especially when your health is at stake. I wish more people would actually educate themselves before rushing into surgery.

  23. In April when I mow the lawn for the first time of the spring, I'm all "Oh it's good exercise! And sunshine! Yay for lawns!" In September, after being stung by a bee, bitten by ants, sweat through my jeans, and picked pine needles out of my hair I'm going "*#%! lawn!! Is it October yet?!"

  24. In light of my recent surgery hell, I've decided I'm going to live with the rest of the excess skin. I'd rather look like a Shar Pei naked then be dead of a blood clot. I just can't take that risk again.

  25. In past years, I've worked at the National MS Society's MS Walk. Usually I would work the check-in table or some other sit down job. This year, I've decided I'm not working at it, I'm walking it! :)
