  1. Lost a pound so far on vacation. Now hopefully I can continue to stay on track the rest of the week!

  2. Made an appointment with the orthopedic specialist to get my knee checked out. This being unable to walk sucks and is seriously bumming me out.

  3. Made it through my Grandma's funeral week without gaining. I didn't lose anything either but I'm just glad I maintained despite the stress and barrage of bad food around me for days.

  4. Major milestone hit: If I were to apply for WLS surgery today, I'd be denied because my BMI is (finally!) under 40 and I have no co-morbidities (all gone with weight loss)!

  5. My 9yr old son weighs 64 pounds. I have now officially lost 65 pounds. It really puts it in perspective to think I've lost the equivalent of my son's mass!

  6. My appetite is all but gone. So odd but I'm not complaining.

  7. My band is so tight due to stress today! Holy cow this sucks, I can hardly eat!

  8. My daughter's birthday was Thursday and we've had not one but two cakes here since then. I had one small piece on her birthday but haven't touched them since then. I'm pretty dang proud of myself for resisting!

  9. My goodness the weight loss slows a lot the lower you go on the scale. I've been trying to get out of the 190's and into the 180's for two months. Sooo close!

  10. My mom was considering the band after seeing my results with it. Then today, her family doctor told her it was "bad" because you lose weight from "starvation mode" with the band. I told her her doctor needs to get his head out of ass. I want to slap the stupid out of this guy!

  11. My mom was having a biopsy done by my surgeon's partner- who also fixed a strangulated hernia for me last August. When he came out after to talk to us, he smiled huge at me and goes "your mom was right, I wouldn't have even recognized you!" :)

  12. My NSV of the day- easily fitting in the ridiculously tiny bathroom stalls at my son's school. I remember at my heaviest, I literally had to hold it because I couldn't fit in them to go.

  13. My ticker is FINALLY correct again. It's taken 7 weeks (and a lot of hell) but I've finally lost the 29 pounds of fluids!

  14. My tummy is feeling noticeably better today. Too bad I spent the entire day in bed fighting an ocular migraine. How ironic.

  15. My vascular surgeon (aka, the man who saved not only my legs but my life) suggested walking 20 minutes a day to rebuild strength and also help flush all the fluid out of my body. Sounds good to me, I've missed my walks so much! 20 minutes is better than nothing!

  16. My weight is finally moving down again after having my gallbladder removed. Thank God!

  17. No more drains! YAY!!! \0/

  18. No more staples in my tummy and fluid back in my band. Yay!

  19. Off for my monthly "date" with my surgeon today. I've lost 13 pounds since I saw him last month so I think he'll be pleased (I hope!).

  20. Off for my monthly surgeon appointment today. I think I'm getting a little fill.

  21. Off to Salvation Army today. Between all the clothes now too big for me and the clothes my son outgrew, we have lots to donate!

  22. Off to see my neurologist tomorrow. I've lost 76 pounds since I saw him in June so I'm excited to see his reaction!

  23. Off to see my surgeon for my monthly appointment today.

  24. Officially down 130 pounds and BMI in the 40's. Halfway there and at least my BMI is no longer in the 70's.

  25. Officially down 140 pounds now. My calories have increased to 1100-1200 a day and now the weight is falling off again. Further proof sometimes you really do need to eat a little more to lose.
