  1. 2 reasons why some people panic over stalls. 1) They just had major surgery that transformed their life forever. When they hit a stall, they wonder if it worked and WTH did they just do?! It's an uneasy, completely normal and natural reaction. 2) Many people want immediate results because we are, by nature, impatient. Nothing wrong with either of those two reactions. Most people just need to be educated. The stall is going to happen. Our bodies, for some reason, just have to do it. I never mind because I know that although the scale isn't moving, I am losing inches. Just know that everyone is different and most everyone have these very real feelings. You don't so that is good for you! BTW...Congrats! Looks like you are doing very well! :)

  2. Three things that I have done (on several occasions) when I have forgotten:

    1) Take a big bite of something and swallow it without chewing it real good. Hurts!

    2) Drink something while I am eating. Hurts!

    3) Often times I don't plan before I eat. I allow myself to get thirsty, and then it is time to eat. I have to wait to drink something for 30 minutes after I have eaten. Then I am REALLY thirsty and that is never good.

    We live and learn. :)

  3. I think for me it's just the desire and ability to do things again. I am currently working on building a pavilion in our backyard. This is something I physically would not have been able to do 6 months ago. A couple of weeks ago, I worked on my car. Again, something that my weight would not allow me to do just a few short months ago. I promised my kids that I will take them to Six Flags this summer after I hit 240 (just 4 lbs away!!!) and I will be able to ride the rides!!! My life has changed for the better tremendously! TGFTS!!! :)

  4. Welcome and congrats, Star, on your decision to be sleeved! It is one of the best decisions I have made in my life and I know you won't regret it! You will do great, I am sure of it. Be sure to keep us posted on how everything goes! :)

  5. I think it is a trial and error situation. You will have to learn what is too much by experience. That was a lot of our problem to begin with...we didn't know when to stop. We didn't have that resistance before and now we do. This is a tool to help us learn what is enough. We don't like the feeling in our chest when we eat too much so we don't want to do it again. That is how we learn.

Good luck! Looks like you are doing great!! :)
