I've pretty much was eating soups, and soft foods. I'm 2 months out now, as of yesterday, and theres pretty much nothing, I can't eat. Some things I havent tried, but if I havent, its becasue I dont want it. I've lost 45 pounds as of today. Yeah. I have about 50 more to go. How about you?

Oh, honey, keep the faith. I'm 35 days out, and have lost 35 pounds, and I feel on top of the world. There hasn't been one day, that I regret. I'm so happy, I couldn't think about crying. I've had a few problems, but we just have to stay strong and work through them. See you on the other side. Kathy

Ok, I had my sleeve, on Dec. 12, 2011. I have had pain, severe at times, esp. after I eat, every since the surgery. I have been to the hospital, and had a cat scan, right before Christmas, and it showed, that my spleen was messed up, and that one of my lungs, wasn't filling up all the way. All they did was give me liquid vicadin. Now the pain is still there, and after about two table spoons of food, I'm in so much pain, that my husband, gets my vicadin for me. I have a doctors appt. on wed. and my family is mad, and wants some answers, to when this will stop.

Here's my pre diet Breakfast: 1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese 1/2 cup fruit AM Snack: UNJURY Lunch: 2oz. turkey 1 oz low fat cheese 1 low-carb wrap lettuce, raw veg mid afternoon: UNJURY Dinner: 4-6 oz very lean meat, poultry or fish, 1-2 cups low carb vegetables, large green salad with 1 T dressing, sugar free jell-o with 1/2 cup fruit Evening: UNJURY They also give you other choices. Oh by the way UNJURY is the protien powder, they make you buy 3 of them, to make it thru the pre diet. I have been on this since Nov. 28, and have lost 9 pounds. I have my surgery on 12/12 and will most likely lose another 4 or 5. So It is weird to see all the differant diets, they put people on. I'm having my surgery at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City Michigan.

So very sorry. I know what your going thru. My girlfriends have had the surgery, and everything went so smooth for them, and I decide to have it, and it's been two yrs in the making, that should give you some idea of what I've gone thru. My date is 12/12 and I think, I'm turning the phone off. lol Best wishes to you.

I also started yesterday. I'm high protein for two weeks. I also get meals and three shakes a days.

My date is Dec. 12th, in Traverse City, Michigan by Dr. Nizzi I'm on my two week pre-op diet. I'm so excited to be doing this. Good luck all you December Sleevers. :Banane55:

Wow, that is great. You just gave me insight on how my life will be in 6 months. I will have my surgery on Dec. 12, and I love to know, that in six months, I will be feeling and looking better. Congradulations. Kathy

Welcome, I to will be getting sleeved in Dec. the 12th. I went thru the same things you have, thought about lap band and after 2 years have decided, to be sleeved. I hope everything goes great for you. Best Wishes. Kathy

Well I will say a prayer for you. I'm in the waiting stage. My date is Dec. 12, and wow, I know what you mean. I started considering surgery about 2 years ago, and even went to my first meeting, about 2 years ago. I smoked back then, and as soon as I found out, you could not smoke, I left. Well after a year a crying about, not being able to have the surgery, because I smoked, I said, than quit. So after 40 years of smoking, and yes I was very young, when I started. I Quit. Well Good Luck to you Purpletmar. Sounds like your doing ok. I just got my date Dec 12. I'm like you, my heaviest has been 250 and I don't want to carry it anymore. Oh, they say, you look like you weigh 175 lucky me, but I don't. I just know that I'm happy for you, cause, I too tryed those others, and like you, I need a drastic change and good luck
