I was on it for a year and it wasn't till thus year I started to gain weight. I was suppose to get a shot in March never did and I still haven't seen my "friend"

I'm sure vitamax is good but the cost is not.

I use it to make fruit smoothies I don't get foam when I use mine. Even if I don't put fruit in it.

I have the ninja.. and I love it.. it turns ice into dust. Or it can just chop it up a little. But it works well. And o have the first one it was like 40 bucks

I will be calling them to see about the case manager. I called them and asked about what I needed to do and they said I needed the six month supervised diet and the nut doctor and I could do the six months with my pcp. That I didn't have to be month to month but I go every month anyway. That was it. I just feel like I should be doin more.

I'm scared my man will leave me after surgery. He likes big women. He has been supportive and knows that I'm doin this for my health. But in my mind that don't change what he likes.

I did look into that and it can be 35 with co-morbidities or 40 without

I looked into my insurance requirements for the sleeve. I have been seeing my pcp for the 6 month supervised diet. I made the appointment to see the nut doctor. And I been goin to the gym. I feel like I'm missing something. This is what they want. Patient selection criteria for bariatric surgery include (NHLBI, 1998):

Documentation of a motivated attempt of weight loss through a structured diet program, prior to bariatric surgery, which includes physician or other health care provider notes and/or diet or weight loss logs from a structured weight loss program for a minimum of 6 months. Active participation in an integrated clinical program that involves guidance on diet, physical activity and behavioral and social support prior to and after the surgery. Psychological evaluation to rule out major mental health disorders which would contraindicate surgery and determine patient compliance with post-operative follow-up care and dietary guidelines.

So sad. 4 million ain't enough. I know money won't bring her back but it will take care of her child. And I pray that the people on that waiting list find a new hospital.

I'm sorry u hated your photos.. they say the camera adds 10 pounds. I think its more like 20. But soon we will love the camera again..

I have been on depo shots for a year when I first started I asked about weight gain. My doc put me on a diet not really to get weight off just so that I didn't gain weight. So I have uhc and I have to do a 6 month supervised diet. I called them today and asked about the 6 month diet and they said It didn't have to be a monthly weight ( I called twice). But I didn't think about the gyno till now. So I typed all this to ask do u think I can use the year for the 6 month supervised diet?

I haven't gained any weight while on it. But I aint really lost any while on it. So I'm goin to get off it. Just wanted to see if any women might have been on it.... Thanks

Hi... I'm Angie. I just started my steps to better health. I went to see my pcp last month and told her that I was thinking about wls. She seemed very pleased with that. She sent me for blood work. And said she would write a referral letter, and to come back in 6 weeks. I have uhc oxford they said it was covered. I know from reading here there will be many steps to get to my goal, but I been big all this time a lil longer won't hurt. I'm 5"2 244. So I'm shot and plump.. lol. I would like to know if anyone was or is on depo shots before or after surgery?
