Hi, I also had my surgery done by Dr Curry on may 14 2012 and I live near Columbus Ohio, I found him to be a great Dr. His staff is very nice and helpful. He has an office close to where I live so I go there for the fills. But I did drive the hour and half for the surgery. I like the fact that you get 2 years of fills with the surgery.

I also have a 14 cc band and just had my third fill I'm at 10cc, just had it done on Thursday, so I hope for some restriction.

My Dr put in 4 cc at surgery and another 4 at first fill and 1 at second I still don't have that much restriction and I go tomorrow for third fill which I prob will get 1 cc and I hope for more restriction that will make me at 10 cc.

Yes my Dr was very agessive, I have the Allergan AP large band which is holds 14 cc. He put in 4cc during my surgery and another 4 at my first fill and I just got another 1cc on Tuesday. They said I prob wouldn't reach the green zone until I'm about at 10cc , I hope so!

I was banded by Dr Curry on may 14, and he and his staff our great. I was self pay also and they don't put any pressure on you. They leave it up to you to pick the date. I wanted to do it soon, so I did my consult and pre op diet within a month and surgery.

If you have a krogers by you they have a yogurt that has only 4 grams of carbs and 3 grams of sugar. It is there store brand called kroger carbmaster. I buy it and it is really good.

I was banded on may 14rh and was wondering if it is better to weigh my food on digital scale or use measuring cup?

I live in grove city, 15 minutes from columbus.

I have had thyroid problems for over twenty years and I am having my surgery on may 14. I take synthriod 200 mg everyday. My de didn't say it was a problem.

Started pre op diet today, so far not bad! I got to have a pancake for breakfast and chicken noodle soup for lunch!

Not really looking forword to it but I know I need to do it and get used to changing my eating habits. What about you?

Start my pro op diet tomorrow for two weeks, surgery on the 14th. Doing medifast meals and shakes.

I start my pre op diet on Tuesday !
