  2. I have loved this forum. I have only had my band for 6 weeks, but the ability to search and read topics from actual banded people has been priceless. The docs and nutrionist can only give you so much info, reading and asking real live people has mad these 6 weeks so much easier for me. Thanks to all the people on this forum!
  3. Sounds like your band is too tight, might have some taken out.
  4. I felt no difference after my first fill, no restriction at all it seems like. I have my 2nd fill on Thursday, so I hope it helps me some.
  5. I use a bullet style blender and it works great getting the grit out. You have to add a little ice, for some reason it helps it mix up better. Good luck to you.
  6. I had my first fill yesterday, 3 weeks and 3 days postop. They made me an appointment for 3 weeks for a possible 2nd fill. This sounds real fast after reading what others have said.
  7. I have only had the band for 3 weeks but I know what you are going through. I know right now I am going to get hungry, but I am sticking to the diets my doctor gave me as much as I can. I am trying to have good Snacks between meals and that has helped. Keep working at it, hopfully it will get easier.
  8. Hey everyone, Did not see this topic anywhere so I am hoping some of you might be able to help. I am wanting to go on a 4 or 5 day backpacking trip this summer and need to know if anyone has any experience with types of food or other difficulties the band may have run into. Thanks!
