    Post Op Day 2

Pat, To be honest moving/walking is the only thing that will help. The gas is trapped, and it has to litterally dissipate on its own. From what i have read you can try: gas x strips, heating pad (dont put on belly). flap your arms around (windmill style), keep walking/moving. It will go away, hang in there (hugs)

What have I done to myself?

Wozzicat, Very normal to feel this way! I think most of us went through the same process with our feelings, thinking the same thing. I know I did. I cried for 2 weeks like a big baby. I drove my husband crazy, (and Missy) too, LOL. It does get better! We can all vouch for this! Hang in there, you have lots and lots of wonderful things in life to look forward to... (hugs)

Terry, You are right about the hot sauce! Back in my WW day I always remember our leader over and over again stressing how 'spicy' foods/condiments can boost up the metabolism. Love your Breakfast btw, one of my favs in the mornings

Terry, don't laugh at me but I would take those tiny little baby spinach leaves and put tuna fish inside and roll em up. Oh, don't forget the laughing cow lite creamy swiss cheese wedge to put in that tuna. Thanks to Missy, she created the best tuna fish with laughing cow and babybel cheeses

  19. Wozzicat, I feel restriction most deffinately, my band lets me know when I have either eaten to much, too fast, to big of a bite, (I get discomfort) when doing any of these mentioned. My band puts me right in check! I also feel satisfied after a meal for long periods of time until my next one. I am not sure how long my restriction will continue on my journey, but for now its working....

  22. The best advice I have learned from my fellow bandsters is the golden rule - that is never to eat more than a cup of food per meal, no matter what! Get in that protein! Oh, and the thing that helps me overall is to track everything I eat and exercise. I cannot live without these rules, ever!
  23. Thank you Missy for always looking out for us, love ya girlfriend x0x0x00x
