7 Months Post Op - The Cons - Drowning in clothes
So i am 7mths out and 105lbs down and i am really loving the way that i look BUT I feel hidden underneath all of these big clothes!! I went from a size 24 to a size 16w. My tops are a large. I am trying my best not to purchase clothes because in no time at all, they are too big for me too!! No kidding! I am trying to wait as long as i can before i buy clothes but i feel like i am drowning in clothes. I have a bunch of smaller sized pants (14-16) tucked away that i cant quite get into yet but no tops. So pretty much ive been buying clearance tops here and there because i know i wont fit in them long. Its such a blessing but geez louise! Its sooooooooooooooo worth it i swear but wearing clothes that are too big really has a way of making me feel unattractive. i know its all in my head

Almost 6 months post surgery...stalled weight loss
same here. I am almost 5 months post op and i have been on a stall for about 3 weeks. and i am making sure that i get in more protein and exercising more frequently. Minimizing my carb intake and getting in more water as well. I lose a few then they come back. like im fighting with he same 5 lbs. soo frustrating. it will pass though. i am sure of it

2 months out and Taco Bell
Although i do agree that Fast Food so early post op is not the best idea, However i have to say that its freaking awesome to go to a fast food joint and get full off of one taco ! I am not crazy about fast food but once in a blue moon, its a delightful treat. If i focused on portion control my whole life then i wouldnt have needed the surgery in the first place ! Before, i would have ordered the whole left side of the menu and would have eaten it until i was blue in the face ! and thats no longer the case. I have come a long ways and my main focus is to not make bad habits a regular basis occurence. stay focused!

Doctor is disappointed
Girl Please!!! I am 3 and a half months out and i have only lost 58 lbs since surgery. Your doctor is a turd. Its the sleeve, not the bypass!

eating too much? starting to get obsessive...
Control the scale but dont let the scale control you.

Breakfast Ideas
for breakfast, i have a half piece of whole grain toast with earth balance natural buttery spread and trader joes strawberry preserve & a piece of grapefruit. I got tired of eggs as well but i like to switch it up. Sometimes i will have bacon and an egg or quinoa and an egg with cheese scrambled. depends.

All of my December sleevers...
work out , drink your protein, take your vitamins, drink nothing but water and crystal light, and stick to soups and salads or veggie based meals. Read your labels!!

All of my December sleevers...
I have hit my first stall since my december 22nd surgery and i gotta tell you that i am kind of happy because i want to be able to enjoy my journey more. I feel like when it flies off that im not able to just enjoy my journey and learn more about my sleeve. A stall is not negative or bad, its your body changing and we know we will continue to lose so what can be better than that? im in no rush. As a matter of fact, i put my scale away today because i dont want to continue to be a slave to it. i will continue to excercise and focus on being as healthy as possible without judging myself for not being a size 6 yet. Even as i am losing fast, it just makes me want to lose it faster. im not judging myself anymore.
