Almost 6 months post surgery...stalled weight loss

I will be six months post surgery on 5/14/13. I have lost 60lbs since my surgery in November. In the past three weeks, I have hit a stall. Any recommendations on how to break this stall?

I stalled for almost 2wks. I focused on fluids one day, ate more protein second day and walked. I also had small amnt of carb. I went dwn 4#. Today anthr 1/2#. Everyone is diff. U have to find what ur body needs.

I was 6 months out on 4/30. I hit a stall the past month. I joined a gym today to try and break it. I tried changing around my calories/carbs/fats...nothing helped. I'm praying exercise is going to get things going again. Best of luck to you!

I'm right there with you, except my stall has been going on for more like 6 weeks. It's not even that really. I would loose a couple of pounds, then gain them back, then loose them. It's the same stubborn 5 lbs that just WON'T GO AWAY! I've just been trying to focus on eating right and exercising, but it's hard to not obsess about it.

  1. same here. I am almost 5 months post op and i have been on a stall for about 3 weeks. and i am making sure that i get in more protein and exercising more frequently. Minimizing my carb intake and getting in more water as well. I lose a few then they come back. like im fighting with he same 5 lbs. soo frustrating. it will pass though. i am sure of it
