Just wondering if you can provide yourself with enough fuel to get through a marathon or even a half?
I started running this year and I love it! Im hoping after surgery my times will improve but Im worried about the long distance runs
the heating pad will help wonders for your neck and shoulder. Also deep breathing. They will help absorb the gas faster and then the pain will go away. you can also try to sleep with the head of the bed elevated slightly. If you didnt take a heating pad ask a nurse for some warm blankets to tuck under your back and around your neck
Sorry to hear about your knee! is your leg from the knee down cold to touich or normal?
I will be having my surgery done in Red Deer, Alberta. I dont know for sure who will be doing my surgery yet. There are 3 doctors here that are doing it now. Dr. Farries, Dr. Gregg and a Dr. I have yet to meet
I started this whole procedure in Jan of 2011 and then I backed out. I decided to hire a personal trainer, start eating right and go to the gym regularly. I am starting all over again in December and I am kicking myself for thinking I could do it without the sleeve. I would have been sleeved by now. I had the overwhelming feeling I was going to die in February so I left my program Oh well better late then never right?
