  1. Hey rodswife!! Thanks for asking- I'll get the results probably tomorrow or the next day. They have to do some bloodwork.
  2. Off the doc to check and see if I managed to ovulate on my own this time!
  3. Thank you so much my wonderful friend! Is it normal to get tired and cranky when you ovulate?
  4. Hubs went to the pharmacy this morning to get the Ovidrel shot. Better late than never, right? Well the pharmacy didn't have it ready for us. They have to special order it, and won't be able to get it before Wednesday. Maybe I will just ovulate on my own. I've been kind of bloated and crampy. Part of me is afraid that the follicle will just keep growing and growing and growing until my ovary is the size of a basketball....
  5. Kind of freaking out- we went to pick up the ovidrel shot, and the pharmacy was closed already! We thought they were open til 8! Now we don't have the shot, and we won't be able to get it until tomorrow morning at 10. I was supposed to take it tonight at 6pm. I won't get it until 16 hours after I was supposed to take it! I am so frustrated and upset. I'm scared that I just wasted a whole month of medicine.
  6. They found one egg today. We won't get to look again before the shot to make me ovulate this time, so we're just praying that the little sucker does what it's supposed to. 16 days til we know if it worked this time.
  7. The results on the test yesterday were very good- my tubes are all clear! Thursday we count eggs!
  8. The day after tomorrow we get to look at my tubes! Does anyone else enjoy opportunities to peek at the workings of their insides? I have always thought x-rays and the like were just the coolest things. Also, is Soup an inherently bad idea for anyone else? For whatever reason, anytime I eat soup I get really queasy and heart-racey... Maybe it's the food/liquid combo?
  9. Thanks so much! There's not much to say- on day three of Clomid. Hubs and I have both had some kind of stomach virus this week. Thankfully I didn't throw up any of the medicine. We have both had fevers off and on, and have been taking Tylenol. Hopefully none of this will affect the fertility treatments.
  10. Thanks so much, everyone! The sonogram went good today- I was mistaken about what they were looking at, the one to look at my tubes is next week. They checked my ovaries to make sure everything was looking good before starting the Clomid again. They look great- no cysts! This is the first time in 2 years that I have been completely clear! We are hoping and praying that this cycle will be the one. I start the Clomid again tomorrow.
  11. No baby this time. I started yesterday afternoon. Today we are going in for a sonogram to look at my Fallopian tubes to make sure there aren't any blockages. If it looks good, then tomorrow we start over with the Clomid and try again!
  12. Little bit of clear discharge but no blood... PMS symptoms, but nothing out of the ordinary. A little crampy, bloated, achy, etc.
  13. I've had a little soreness and mild abdominal cramps. I feel a little bloated. I tried bra shopping tonight- to see if a different size bra would take some of the pressure off, and also because I've lost about 35 pounds since I bought this one. Before surgery I was a 48D. my current bra is a 46C and is very loose- to the point of being uncomfortable. None of the bras I tried on tonight really fit well. And they didn't seem to make much of a difference on the soreness. But the good news is that I am down to a size 42D(even though I didn't buy it- it fit but looked terrible. We're talking cone-boobs terrible).
  14. Thanks, that helps me feel a lot better! I am really hoping it was a false negative. My boobs are really sore, but they usually are during the four days or so leading up to my period. I was reading some websites about all of this, and that also was helping me kind of understand what is happening.
  15. Thank you Cheri! And rodswife! I took a test today. It was negative. It might still be a little early- it's been about 10-11 days since ovulation. If I am late for my period (if I haven't started by Tuesday), I will take another test.
  16. The blood test results came back- I ovulated! We just have to wait a couple more days to find out if I'm pregnant. At least if it didn't happen this time around, we know I responded to the treatments and we can try again. But hopefully there's a little baby in there somewhere....
  17. Thanks so much rodswife!
  18. Tomorrow I'm going in for a blood test "to see if the eggs were any good," in the words of my eloquent OB. In about three days I will be able to take an early pregnancy test and see if it worked! Fingers crossed! I don't really feel any different....
  19. Went back to the dr. this morning. The two eggs that they found Wednesday were missing or had shrunk back down or something, but they found a new one on my other ovary. And, it's a nice, big, happy one too! He gave me the shot to make me ovulate, so now we just wait and see what happens!
  20. Thanks rodswife! I am getting excited- tomorrow morning I will hopefully get the shot! We'll see what things look like. I can't believe I will still have to wait two or three more weeks to know if it worked...
  21. They found two eggs! I go back Sat. For the shot to make me ovulate. He warned me that sometimes eggs can just magically disappear though, so we are praying that they are both fully mature and ready to go!
  22. Aw! That's awesome @rodswife! I would so love to have a house full of children someday too! Wednesday is the big day to see how the eggs are looking and I'm praying HARD. I wouldn't say no to twins. We've been waiting and wanting so long that a nice multiple birth would feel like making up for lost time, lol.
  23. Hope you had sweet dreams, and that you are feeling a little better! If McD's smoothies go down and stay down, go for it! Some thing "unhealthy" in is better than all the healthy stuff going in then comIng right back out! I'm praying for you friend!
  24. Hey there Moregan, You and I are on similar journeys! I was diagnosed with PCOS almost two years ago, and have been overweight since I was seven! And I want a baby, too! That's how I found out about the PCOS to start with, and a big reason why I decided to go forward with sleeve surgery. It has changed my life big-time! I am now 8 weeks post-op, and I've lost 32 pounds. I don't have to take metformin anymore, thank goodness, but this path so far has not been easy. It's only the las couple weeks that I've really felt like myself since the surgery, and had somewhat normal energy levels. food and I still don't get along very well if I'm not careful- I haven't thrown up a single time since surgery, but I gave gotten dumping syndrome a few times after having a little of something I shouldn't have had. And Dehydration is a constant worry. However, this surgery has given me a new outlook on life. Despite my troubles, the weight is coming off. I don't get out of breath climbing stairs. I am down from a size 4X/ 28 to size 22, and some 1X's in less than two months!! I have the confidence to be able to plan and dream about a much more enjoyable future! And, I don't really feel hungry anymore. It is way cool to have five or six bites at dinner and be done! So, yes it is scary. And there are needles. BUT, there are also DRUGS! Lol. And when you're done, recovered (this part takes time and is also way not fun), and skinny, then there will be a BABY!! I hope my perspective was helpful, and God bless your journey!
