  1. Thanks so much Mary. I think it might- I'll have to try it. Got chills right now, and I'm shaking a little. I'm not sure how much sleep I'll be getting tonight.
  2. I will be so glad when all of this is over and we can think about trying again.
  3. Today has been a very hard, hard day. I have been having alonst constant cramping. The bleeding is picking up a little this evening. I went to the store with hubs earlier, and the walking around was torture. The last couple days haven't been that productive- just a few drops of brownish discharge. This morning it was light pink, and within the last hour I have started bleeding a little. The cramps are killer. I feel like I have to go to the bathroom constantly. I'm not enjoying this... It feels like my lower abdomen is trying to turn itself inside out. The Tylenol is not helping at all.
  4. Lost the baby. We went to the doc this morning because the numbers were not good on the blood test yesterday. They did an ultrasound just to make sure it wasn't an ectopic pregnancy, and it wasn't. But they couldn't really distinguish the baby either, and there wasn't a heartbeat or any movement.
  5. Thanks rodswife!! I rested the rest of the afternoon and took a nice, long nap. I am feeling a little better now, and there wasn't anymore blood when I woke up. Still bloated, though...
  6. Went to the doctor this afternoon for the sonogram, and they couldn't see anything. So, going back in a week to look again... I hate waiting!!! Patience is not an easy virtue for me. I had some spotting today. It was bright red. I'm kind of freaked out by it, and hubs is almost to emotional breaking point over it- he so, so wants this baby. We asked the doc about the gas supplement, and he didn't think I should take it. We looked it up when we got home, and it has fennel seed in it, which isn't good for pregnancy. So, another thing to freak out about, since I already took four today. Ugh.
  7. I've been taking gas-ex, but it hasn't helped much. I just went over to my nearby health food store and got a digestive enzyme cocktail in pill form. I took a dose about 15 minutes ago, and I already feel a little better. I will ask my doctor about it this afternoon just to be on the safe side. The relief is blessed...
  8. Anyone have any suggestions for baaaaad gas pain and bloating? I feel like I am perishing...
  9. Thanks y'all. Today was a short day for me- I slept most of it away. Our first ultrasound is the day after tomorrow (Wednesday)! I am so, so excited to get to see our little baby, and it's little heart beating! My mom is coming with us- this will be the first time that she will get to see the sonogram in person for one of her grandchildren. She is too excited! We told the hub's parents this past weekend about the baby, and they are almost beyond being able to contain themselves. The next morning after we told them the new Grandpa went shopping for the baby. Then later that day he and the hubs went on a scavenger hunt around town for my favorite flavor of Gatorade. They both deserved an award...
  10. Also, how can it only have been a week since I found out I was pregnant?!? This is going to last forever. I will never have a nausea-free day again....
  11. I feel like I never want to eat again... Sooo queasy!!!
  12. Thanks TT! Today was kind of rough- I've had a lot of queasiness and gas pain. I've been pretty stopped up, so I'm having Activia yogurt with my supper, and doing my best to drink more. I hope it helps, because I'm tired of hurting...
  13. No sex, and we're at Six weeks so I doubt it's from implantation. However, it was thin and dark brown, so I think we're good for now. Trying to stay hydrated...
  14. I know the book said it's probably normal, but I'm freaking out- had some brown colored spotting this morning. I'm also just not feeling good- queasy with a little indigestion and tired. I'm worrying.
  15. Today was a painful and bloaty day for me. I am soooo happy to be pregnant, and it's getting me through this.... It was like a combination of nausea, menstrual cramps, bloating, and major gas pain all rolled into one. Family members are starting to give guesses and opinions about the baby's gender... Lol! I'm like, Baby just started working on forming it's liver. It doesn't have time to worry about our curiosity about gender at the moment.. However, I really want it to be a girl. Hubs really wants it to be a boy. Most everyone who has given an opinion so far has said they think it's a boy.
  16. Sandy- thanks for coming along with us for the ride! Cheri- OMG! I'M SOOOO EXCITED!!! This is so awesome- I hope it's twins for you again! I feel so blessed to have wonderful people rooting for me, and so excited about all the good news everyone's had lately!
  17. Lol, thanks my lovely friend. I saw that book at the baby store the other day- now I know I have to buy it!
  18. Today I have been pretty queasy almost all day... Ugh. This morning for the first three hours I was awake all I could do was sip my one-cup-per-day of half-caf coffee and try not to think about food. I also had some lemonade. The thought of any solid food made me feel nauseous instantly. Also, I have been having a lot of excess saliva. Not fun. So excited though that something's happening. I think if I had no symptoms I would be freaking out. I have also been cramping alot. Although it's not really like a menstrual cramp, more like a muscle ache. The "what to expect when you're expecting" book says that it's my ligaments stretching, and my uterus starting to expand. Geh- too much medical info. Sorry guys...
  19. Rodswife, that's the best news I've heard all day! I want to do this over and over- it's so exciting! I also have always wanted a big family...
  20. Something else that has been weird since getting pregnant (before I knew I was...) is that I have had just an amazing urge to cook. I joined pinterest on the first day of my cycle (someone introduced me as a way to cheer me up about not being preg, lol) and have been incredibly motivated the last three and a half weeks to try several recipes. I even started looking at the Paleo diet just after I joined pinterest and cooked a few of those recipes, and loved them. I credit that for helping this baby stick! I think getting rid of a lot of processed stuff the last few weeks really helped regulate my hormones. I didn't get rid of all those yummy foods completely, though! I still have to have an orange sherbet push pop occasionally!
  21. LOL, Cheri! I have been eating more than normal, definitely, as long as the baby likes it.... I have been focusing on eating mostly protein-rich foods, since I know both the baby and I need it. Before the pregnancy, one protein-ous meal would leave me feeling stuffed for the rest of the day pretty much. And I would only be able to eat about five bites. Now, depending on the meal, I can eat almost a cup of food at a time. I am not too hungry the first part of the day, but then around 4pm and on I get snacky about every hour and a half or so. Last night between 9:30 and 11 I ate almost constantly- it was mostly fruit, plus a super delicious organic frozen fruit bar, but still! Popcorn is something else that in the last three weeks I have wanted a lot, and can eat constantly. I haven't weighed myself lately- I am scared to! I have been making an effort to eat healthfully, though.
  22. Jack in the Box eggrolls== very queasy. Sucking on a Preggie Pop now...
  23. OMGosh, that is too funny about your cats! My normally cuddly one has been disdaining me for almost 3 weeks now. The other one (my brown tabby Gizmo) has not been at peace unless she is making physical contact with me. She's been acting protective too. She scratched the heck out of hub's foot the other day when she thought he was about to run into me! Both of them are girls...
  24. Called the doc to see what the results of the bloodtest were- they said everything looks good! Progesterone is at 11, and Hcg is at 50ish. Normal results! I'm on the second day of the 5th week. I have to get another blood test next week to make sure everything is increasing like it's supposed to.
