  1. Hey guys I had my band removed yesterday due to major slip. Insurance didn't cover for sleeve due to low bmi. I've had the band for 3 years and I've lost a total of 170lbs and have stayed the same weight for over a year but I'm now nervous that without my band I'll gain some weight back. I've developed good eating habits and go to the gym or workout at home at least 5 days a week... I plan on doing what I need to do to eat right but it's still a shock to my body and I still have that fear! The last 6 months I've had 2cc in a 10cc band to try to fix a minor slip and have had zero restriction and I've gained 5 lbs. I need some prayers for this fear... It's my worst enemy and depression! Any suggestions... Comments or tips or similar story! I need your help

  2. Hey there!

    I just had my band taken out yesterday due to a major slip. Having a lot of gas shoulder pain and my stomach muscles are very sore. How long did it take you to recover? Plus I've lost 170lbs and I've had the band for 3 years and I'm so nervous about gaining the weight back. Have any advice?

  3. Maybe you could fight it?

    ~~~Stephanie
    I wanted too but obviously this company is full of crap and they already rewarded the money I worked hard for to someone else who's well know in the beachbody community.. it hurts because my family deserved it but I think it would just bring More disappointment and pain if I kept on.
  4. That seems unfair. So if you dieted and worked out and lost weight it would be OK? Or do you have to be born with this "beachbody" to qualify? Seems to me however you get your body in shape for the competition would all be the same. I'm so sorry there disqualifying you' date=' it is just plan wrong. Men and women do and take all kinds of things to get great bodies, sound like discrimination. You've worked hard you deserve it.
    Yes You're right. I used beachbody programs to help achieve my weight loss goals and entered my before and after pictures to their challenge. Once the community found out I had the surgery the thought Oh that's how she lost all her weight..which Yes I used it as a tool but I worked damn hard for it..and I used their products.. they granted me and my family 25k..which was gonna help my family greatly cause we've been struggling for some time then once they found out they disqualified and took all this away from us. I get they have rules but clearly they didn't see the big picture here...I didn't cheat.. I worked hard to loose 170lbs in 18 months ..
  5. I was disqualified with the beachbody challenge because of lapband surgery. Nothing states In their rules about weight loss surgery and I used their program to maximum my weightloss. I'm devasted. I lost a total of 170lbs but frown upon Because I had a surgery that saved my life.
    What's Eveeryones thoughts on this..I wanna know..
  6. Any tips?
    Low carb,low fat diet!
    Add Protein shakes to ur diet to get all the Protein you can!
    Water only and tea/coffee only once in awhile!
    Limit your sugar and excercise daily
    Switch up your rountine!
    Eat colorful! I eat lots of veggies.
    Sounds pretty intense but after 2 weeks your body gets use to the diet and excercise and u feel off if u don't excercise and you don't crave high fat foods like you use too!
    Make sure you do some weight training during your weight loss!
    Muscle burns fat and also it will help on having loads of skin!( I still have skin tho)
    I allow myself a cheat meal!
    Only every so often but I plan
    It so I feel much more in control rather than just giving in to temptations!
  7. Love this!
  8. Thanks everyone! My goal weight is 130 or 135! So I'm close! I can almost take it I heard it wa harder after the first year so I'm trying hard while I'm under the first year! I'm low carb dieting which helps the weight come off faster I believe and even before surgery, when I could stick to a diet it always came off fast! Im still young so I guess that helps a lot! I stay buzy with work and being a mom so I'm always on the move! I work out at home which is good for my schedule! Either treadmill or a cardio tape( turbo fire, turbo jam, or p90x) and now I'm toneing with weights! I am very proud but some days i feel like I look the same in the mirror but physically I feel like a million bucks!! I guess it takes time to adjust to the mirror!
