    Walmart

    I'm not sure what your talking about with being a huge drain on taxpayers. I don't own a home right now but I remember when I did that I paid for schools and services like the library, fire and what not. I don't remember ever paying for a Walmart or any other store. The tax I'm charged in the store is the same city tax I pay all over. Please fill me in. Thanks

    December Exercise

    Oh wow I was posting in the wrong month again..lol Anyways nice hotel room daddy.. gotta love room service! So I didn't do step aerbics because my ankle is bothering me alot. So I did the circuit machines increasing the weights again..and 20 minutes on the bike. Although I still think it aggravated it a bit. Anyways..I know I gotta get to the doc soon about it. Also I was excited to see I was finally on the YMCA board. They rank all the members to see who's doing what. Well I was #9 on most calories burned! I burned 11,909 calories. weeeeee

    Walmart

    Well let me put my "I love Walmart" hat on. Why you ask? I'm a single mom that doesn't get child support and I'm barely making it. Walmart saves me a huge amount of money. For many of us..it's just about survival. I'm sorry but you don't have to work at Walmart if you don't want to. So don't. Then maybe Walmart will get the hint and then they will have to attract people with better benefits. Also from my experiences, walmarts vary greatly. There are ones I refuse to go into because of how unorganized and unclean they are. Luckily there are so many I can choose which ones I want to go to.

    Well the thing you have to make sure of is what is it going to be like when your band fluctuates as I'm sure it does the same as the rest of us. Period week for me is the one that always gets me. Gotta make sure I'm loose enough to survive that week.

    i smell bs. I would call her up and ask her who she's talked to about it. My thinking is she just grabbed this out of the air. Or maybe she talked to one doctor..and now it's turned into "doctors". This is pretty common thing for people to do. My surgeon wouldn't even work on anyone unless they had at least 100 pounds to loose.

    Why do I dislike myself more now?

    I think I know what your talking about Manatee. I think ur a bit like me. Your comfortable now with your weight loss..but you still aren't at your goal but yet everyone keeps on saying you look fine. But yet..your not truely happy with yourself right? Soo do what I did. Refocus yourself. Ask yourself a few questions. What is it exactly I wanna do with this body? What am I shooting for? For me I just kept on thinking everything was impossible..well guess what..it's not! Just figure out exactly what your goals are from here and go for it! Be happy dammit Nothing is impossible!

    Okay I had a fall out during Halloween and had gained a few pounds now I'm back on track. I am .4 away from 100 pounds..hehe..I'm so there this week.

My nutritional plan has completely changed..here it goes: Meal #1: 1/2 cup of pineapple, 1/2 cup of 1% cottage cheese Meal #2: Protein shake..isopure (50 grams of protein!)..plain yogurt mixed in with some rasberries Meal #3: Salad: 4 oz (if im lucky) Grilled chicken, flaxseed oil, spinach, almonds, carrots, kidney beans, and 1/2 cup of cottage cheese on top for dressing (I usually split this for meal #4 and just add more chicken) Meal #4: See above Meal #5: Sauteed chicken (4 oz), in olive oil, green peppers and onions, garlic, made up for a chicken fajita...without the fajita..also add flaxseed oil when cooking Meal #6: Plain yogurt with some added strawberries and pure vanilla extract Of course all bets are off if my food gets stuck and takes hours to get through..but I do the best I can.

    November Exercise!

    Hope you made it safely daddy! Okay Saturday had my Y weight class. Loveee this class. We did alot of leg lifts..omg..killer. Also did upper body too. Was great. Then I did 20 minutes on the bike. Doing little sprints here and there. Sunday I did my circuit training. I increased the weights and did 3 reps instead of 2. I'm still so new into this weight lifting stuff. Still not sure what I'm doing. Then I did 25 minutes on the bike. My ankle is bothering me and the bike is the best for that. Okay I let the guy go friday night. I feel alot better although I do miss talking to him. But I know if I talk to him I'll be sending the wrong message. Sigh. and life goes on.. I'm not gonna date till the new year.
  12. The hard part for me is the whole food part...I've been living on processed foods and didn't realize it. So gone is all the 100 calorie pack Cookies and stuff. Also the lean cuisines and the weight watcher stuff. I am totally off of high fructose corn syrup. Does anyone know how hard that is to do? I mean it seems like everything has that these days. I can't even eat salad dressing. I even bought some cocktail sauce to go with my shrimp...guess what..corn syrup! geezee. Even bread is ridiculous. I bought this bread that is suppose to be super duper healthy. Called "Natural Ovens". Even though they say in their motto that they don't have corn syrup right there in the ingredients is "crystalline corn fructose" which is a derivative of corn syrup. Sigh. So I'll keep it in the freezer for one of my cheat meals. You might think I'm being a bit ridiculous with all this but darnnit..I wanna win this war with my body. I wanna have the best healthy bod I can have. We only have one body after all Anyways I'm doing more and more research. I find it all facinating. It's like someone just gave me the keys to my health now I'm just finding out where exactly they go. :whoo:

    November Exercise!

    Checking in..sorry its been hell at work Well I went to work out last night..thursday night spin class as usual..well got dress..went to put on shoes..I had 2 left shoes!..ugh I felt like such a dork. I had to work overtime anyways so I just went home. Although good news..I lost 3.2 pounds over 2 weeks (including Thanksgiving!) so I'm a bit ahead of the halloween gain that I had. This new eating plan is doing wonders I think. Still havent let the guy go...I'm terrible..someone just slap me..geezee..tonight I gotta..
  14. Oh some other things i have learned...a gallon of Water weighs 8 pounds..wow!..lol Also a pound of fat equals exactly the same as a pound of muscle. Think about it.. a pound is a pound..no matter how u weight it. The thing is that muscle takes up alot less space then fat...and resting fat burns i believe it is 2 calories while resting muscle burns 53.
  15. Well I am not really looking to "body build" per say. When I say body build people automatically think of the hulk or she hulk bodies. Body building is just focusing on goals and getting to where you want your body to be. What I'm looking into is just utilizing the right foods at the right time to get lean. I've been looking into some nutitrional information written by John Berardi. I just started looking into it but it looks like it makes sense. Look here.. John Berardi - 7 Habits Anyone heard of it or used it before? I'm giving it a try..getting off of carbs and sugar is a tough one though..but one I wanted to do for a very longg time.

    Thanks so much for this advice. I definitely feel this way too. I just had such hope..ugh. I think I'll stop dating for awhile till the new year and regather. I'm on a new nutritional plan anyways that I wanted to focus on. Besides alone for xmas isn't so bad..lol less stress in many ways.

    You know I really don't know how many calories a day. I've been doing weight watchers and it's all been points. So I'm assuming about 1500-1700 a day. I guess that menu is like the back bone to nutritional eating. There are more foods thank God I can eat I just have to figure out how they are metabolized. Which thank goodness I just ask my friend..lol Yeah I was bad today I had to use some pudding to push through my chicken stuckage. I knew it would work and it did. I had been sick like 3 times before that. mmmm..pudding..LOL

    November Exercise!

    Well its already not working...basically the morning wasn't bad at all..eggwhite omelet with spinach..half slice of cheese..and some pineapple.. But second meal was chicken..wayyy to early for me to be eating chicken..so of course it got stuck..and now im wayyy behind on eating.. The band is just made to hold your food for hours..eating this often I dunno..I'm gonna try and talk to my friend about making it better for my needs. Although I'm sure he'll be upset and just say I'm "making excuses" LOL. As far as the food..it's alot of spinach..and lean Protein..and lets see..walnuts..carrots..red pepper...oh hell here ill type out a day Meal #1 1 cup of egg whites 1/2 cup spinach 1/2 slice cheese 1/2 cup pineapple 3 fish oil capsules to drink: 1 cup green tea with lemon..(no additives to the tea, make sure u look for sugar on the label) 1 cup Water Meal #2 4 oz grilled chicken breast 1/2 cup spinach 1/2 cup red pepper, sliced 1/4 cup onion, sliced 1 tbsp flax oil 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar to drink: 1 cup water Meal #3 4oz grilled extra lean beef 1/2 cup spinach 1/2 cup carrots 2 tbsp walnuts 1 tsp fresh garlic, minced 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 3 fish oil capsules to drink: 1 cup water I'll stop there just so you get an idea..there's 3 more meals pretty much the same way..except for meal #6 thats 1/2 cup plain yogurt with 1 scoop milk Protein powder. This is just for women who want to loose fat mass..also there's a workout drink and a post workout drink..geezee..its alot to eat in a day.. Ohh this comes from something called No Nonsense Nutrition..I gotta get the guys name again who is the author of it all.

    I don't know if I posted this already, but the thing that I really really hate about reflux is the day after. I swear I feel like I'm hung over the entire day. It's just awful. I figure it's because I'm dehydrated. Anyone else get that?

    Heyy guys Well he's a super guy. Although he dropped a couple of bombs on me. One of which is a health issue which I'm not sure if I wanna deal with or not. The other..is more of a personal issue..ummm..LOL. Has to do with sex..LOL. Anyways..I didn't know what to say to him on either things. I just don't really know what to do with this one.     November Exercise!

    Heyy guys! I'm back Did my weight class on Saturday. Weighed in and lost another pound I had gained over Halloween. Not to bad since it was Thanksgiving week! I'm starting a new diet today. Alot different from weight watchers. A friend of mine has been doing this for 6 months and has seen huge changes. So hopefully this will work. But I gotta get off my sugar addiction which is gonna be damn hard. Anyways it's eating like 6 times a day and it's eating at the right time of the day. Also before workout and after workout. It's a body building diet but it's for losing fat mass right now. The thing is I dunno how well this will work with the band. So I'm just gonna try and see. Also worked out on Sunday. 20 minutes circuit machines, 110 crunches, then 15 minutes eleptical and 15 minutes treadmill. Supposedly I'm suppose to do the weight machines first before cardio. Who knew..lol
