Sunday 30 minutes on the treadmill 20 minutes on the weight machines...and 60 crunches It was REALLY REALLY hard to go today..just didn't wanna..and I almost gave myself permission cause of my ankle..geeze I just wanna get to my goal already

This is so true..in fact I don't know anyone that has reached their goals that did not include exercise. Besides you look so much better too. :rose:

Saturday..30 minute weight class.. Get this..yesterday I gained 2 pounds today I was 2 pounds less when I weighed in..LOL..scale is driving me crazy

Just reading over the thread and I just wanted to emphasize that you guys need to take your time with fills. You will get there. You don't want to be like my best friend and have her band slip because she was too agressive with the fills. Just take your time. You will get there..this isn't a race Also from my personal experience it took 4 fills to get me to a good spot. Took me a year..just hang in there

Had spin class last night...and I survived another one. It's actually getting easier now. I don't feel like I wonder if I'm gonna make it through now. Got to class a little early so I also did 50 crunches and some arm work with the body bar.

Ohh yeah..some of us women actually care more about the little things in life then material objects. Shocking I know. I'm sure it gets annoying when you find women that just wants ya for your car or some other thing like that. My ex husband was big BIG time into racing so yeah I know exactly what u mean. I think he loved the car more than me..in fact I'm sure of it..LOL. -
I was scared to run on my ankle thats bothering me but I really wanted to feel like I was working myself too. So I decided on the incline. Worked out really well. Ankle still bothering me though..blah. Fricken stress..I need a vacation and a hot tub..bad!

Aww hon..yeah don't get to worked up about the scale. I know EXACTLY how u feel though. It's a fricken war! But 4 inches!!..wow thats fabulous. As far as the scale goes. I would just maybe mix up what your eating. Are your writing down what ur eating? The minute I don't track is when I gain. Sigh. Make sure ur not eating too much salt too. That always messes me up. Good luck and cheer up! Look how far u've come :rose:

Thanks hon! I just wish he'd quit wasting my time. I don't get it really. Why even bother if your just gonna ignore the person again the next day? Last did 25 minutes on treadmill at a 4.0 incline..woot Then I did the circuit machines...and then 50 crunches on the floor Also went for a brisk walk during lunch..was about 15-20 minutes..I think i got a mile in. Today is my day off...also can't walk at lunch gotta go to the bank ><

Also if you have cable we have a really good feature called OnDemand. It's got a whole lot of free excercise videos on there. Remember too its not whole long you go. You can break it up throughout the day..10 minutes here..15 minutes there..it all adds up. The important thing is to get your heart rate up and your metabolism going. So yeah just don't go for a walk...get really moving

Hi there Sounds like you have a good fill to me. Most bandsters are always tight in the morning like that and loosen up throughout the day. As long as your getting food down and your not having reflux I wouldn't touch it. Welcome to the world of being a bandster

Geeze guys..why oh why did I answer the phone when gamer boy called? What is wrong with me..blah. I know how hard it is to resist this man. Anyways we went around and around again about how things are. Why is it so hard for him to understand he needs to give in a relationship? LOL It is really amazing how fricken sweet they can be when they wanna be. UGHHH!! Anyways..I know in my heart that once I get to goal there will be better men flocking to me. I really just can't wait for that day! *focuses on goals*..hehe -
Well I need to get back on weight watchers..I loose my mind when I'm not on it. It's a definite tool I need. Although I'm thinking of getting that body bugg thing. I heard its fabulous

I'm here. I had my step aerobics class last night. 45 minutes. My ankle was bothering me during it. Anytime I had to put all my weight on it. I think I solved my financial issues for awhile so hopefully I'll settle down now and this will go away. Also did 50 crunches after the class. I'm telling u no machine or anything can substitute for just laying on the mat and doing them the old fashioned way. On the machines I don't feel as sore at all..even with the weights. Really odd. Now if I'm not sore during the day..something is wrong..LOL

I didn't include exercise for years. It's a real personal thing I think with everyone. I too hated exercise. But once you reach a point in your weight loss journey you'll know when your ready to start. The great thing about the band is that it's always there. Ready to be used again at any point if we aren't really focused on our health at that given time. Eventually though we figure out if you truely wanna be successful and most importantly..not regain the weight. We HAVE to exercise. The great thing for me was that I lost about 60 pounds first before I started so I felt alot more comfortable exercising. But like I said it's a personal thing. Also don't worry about the saggy skin issues. This is a again something that varies from person to person. Mostly age is a factor. But generally it's not gonna matter. If you loose a significant amount of weight..like over 100 pounds. The chances are huge that you are gonna need a tummy tuck no matter when you pick up exercising. Start slow and gradually add more to what your doing. Also I find taking classes a whole lot more fun then just being on a machine. I'm doing a step aerobics class, a spinning class and a strength class every week. They are free with the membership so it's really good. P.S. Just wanted to add..I LOVEEE my YMCA. Although yes it is really expensive. Probably because they are involved in so many programs trying to help the community. But I love it cause its not like the other gyms at all. It's a family environment. Not all gyms are alike. Just find whatever it is that works for you so you can get your exercise in.

30 minutes in my strength training class today...oh it was upper body today..then I did 12 minutes on eleptical. My ankle is hurting me..>< Anyone else when they are stressed have body parts that start to hurt? It's really annoying and I knowwww it's stress.

So I've been talking with a guy for awhile. Seems pretty good. Well he has a kid too so he asked for a play date with his son and his sister coming along too. I wasn't comfortable with that idea. I would like to meet him one on one first before I involve my child. I don't wanna be analyzed by his sister either if I'm good enough for him. Ewwww. It's just I haven't had a date in a long time so I'm kind of like...wondering if I did the right thing. -
I had spin class last night too! I'm actually getting used to it I think. I'm not really sore at all. But yeah different instructors do different things. Sorry your hurting so much. You'll be better by Sunday..:waytogo: Tonight I'm off again. Getting harder to keep my kid excited about going to the YMCA with me.

Okay 20 minutes on eleptical 20 minutes on weight machines. My trainer left me a little note that I haven't been meeting my weight training goals..lol. Also did 50 crunches on the floor..i swear the old fashioned way works the best for crunches. and I LOVEEEE the way my abs are sore. Wednesday is day off..which is good cause my kid is getting a bit tired of the ymca. yikes..I need to keep her excited about it or I'm in trouble.

Carbs give you energy. Your body needs this. But GOOD carbs. Whole wheat bread and such. You just have to be smart about it. I've even found whole wheat pasta with Omega 3 and protein. Your body needs a balanced diet.
