I am mental. Today I went shopping for needed new work clothes. I bought one XL dress, mostly L clothes and even my first ever Medium shirt!!! So why am.I sitting here near tears because I haven't had any weightloss in a month??? I really need the scale to start moving again. And no, I haven't lost any inches in the past month either. :-(

Grocery stores carry these in many flavors in the baby section. My kids love them and call them 'squishy fruit'. lol

Watch out! They are addictive! I have 2 scheduled this fall and am looking for more. I wouldn't mind running in the winter but it seems as though races aren't big at that time. Go figure. :-/ lol. Congrats!

I started running at about 270/260. my run was at a fast walk pace. My warm up pace now is what my run pace was then. Rather than walking I ran slow. Really really slow. But I think that helped prep my body for real running. I used interval training like 5k runner or c25k and slowly increased my speed. I made sure I was always challenged and it wasn't too easy. I can now run a 11 minute mile no problem and could probably do a 10minute mile if I really pushed. I'm training for a couple if races this fall and hope to have my 5k time under 35 minutes by October 20th. Oh, I weigh 199 now and I can sprint fast. No sense in waiting until the weight is off. Run the weight off! That's what I'm doing anyway.

I was eating around 1200 a day and not losing. I upped it to 1500 and lost 5lbs in a week. I do exercise 5-6 times a week. For me 1200 was not enough calories. Everyone is different though.

Not sure. I ended up figuring it out on my phone. I'm almost always on my phone. There must be some way to add an attachment. That's how I did it on the phone.

I got a 'chicken' tvp and just used celery and pepper and onion and mayo. I love my health food stores vegan one but I can't figure out how they make nayonaise taste good. :-/ -

I'm doing P90X but it lacks cardio so I'm buying Insanity soon If you have netflix you can find workout videos on there. They aren't bad for beginner stuff .

It happens. Just keep moving forward. We all make poor choices now and then and it is ok. Just don't do it every day!

Do you eat out all weekend? Uf you do then you need to plan ahead and bring foods with you and also have a plan of where/what you can eat on the go. (for example; I can have black bean soup at panera or a veggie burger minus the bun at burger king) If you are eating junk at home get it out of the house! garbage is garbage whether it gets there by eating it or tossing it. Just toss it! replace with healthy snacks/food. Laughing cow cheese wedges are great, fresh fruit, Greek yogurt, etc. I found that not planning ahead was a big problem and I have been working on always having a plan.

5'6" was 283 in 22/24 now 201 in 14/16 (large tops but I have one, my first ever, size medium shirt!)

I'm worried about this! I go back to work Tuesday and teach K/1 ESL. I have been stuck in school Nd had to have a friend watch my class while I went to the ladies to PB. I had a lunch/prep back to back last year so I had plenty of time to eat. I don't know what I will have this year. If it is not back to back I will only have 35 minutes from start to end of lunch. That works out to only about 15/20 minutes to eat accounting for travel through building and being ready for next class. :-/ Stress also makes me tighter. I have been stuck on water and yogurt in the past while stressed. I'm thinking I should keep a bottle of protein powder in class just in case.

Just wanted to say that I broke my plateau! Oh and I do waaaaay more than a few minutes of exercise at least 5 but usually 6 days a week. I'm a runner and I do at minimum 2 miles a day (and that is only the days where I just don't have time). I also strength train 2/3 times a week and sometimes take a cardio class like step or kickboxing.
