My co-worker know and are supportive so far. My family and some friends. I have a feeling one of my friends will not be supportive. She was trying to get me to drink a beer with her yesterday. I told her no and made up an excuse of why I had to leave. Hope she will do better

I am on day 9. My surgery is the 15th. I was grouchy Friday. Someone called me the Grinch. Today has been fine. The first few days is rough. I have stuck to it but one day. Christmas party. I paid for it the next day. So far I have lost 15 pounds. Someone asked me, then why have the surgery? I said I had been on every diet and always gain it back. So this will be worth it. I am doing the Oh Yea Shakes. They are great 32 gm of protein. You can get them at GNC or on line.

My surgery is the 15th. I am very excited. I too wished I had done this years ago. The reason I join this group also is for inspiration and to know what to expect. I look forward everyday to getting on here and reading everyone POSITIVE report. I try to stay away from the negatives.

I started mine on the 3rd and I have lost 11 lbs. I wished I could get out and walk more. The weather has been so bad. My do some excerise. You can mix your coffee with the milkshakes?

I am having difficulties loading before photos. Can anyone help me? Where do I go?

You are lucky no solids here just liquid

I have to do the 3 protein shakes a day, I can have sugar free jello, pudding , Icecream, gatoraideYogurt for breakfast and all the unsweet tea and cyrstal lite. Today, I mixed a yogurt with a shake to add substance, since I could have one after it. I have to do this till sugery on the 15th.

My surgery is in 12 days. I am waiting also for the call from the hospital. I am on day 1. Hope all goes good.

Jamesmom, I am the in the same boat. My surgery is 12/15 and I am doing the all liquids. Every once in a while I get a bit of hunger. I eat what is on the list.
