  1. Here's my addition. It bothers me when people add the letter "s" to words that don't need it and don't add the "s" when it is.
  2. Remember folks, The author of this post is following the rules. The title of the post gives the subject away....now if they made the subject "puppies" or "free chocolate" and that was what got you to read the post and they were discussing how the use of english is poor..then ok. But they didn't so lets chillax

  9. I'll get my vitamin D checked out. Eating bad foods isnt an issue for myself. I'm not currently losing any weight..I'm fine with that. i wont get my first fill until July 20th. I really dont have head hunger either. I can sit next to anyone eating a greasy cheese burger and it doesnt bother me. My mood just plain sucks...I've very sad for no apparent reason. I'll check out my vitamin d levels.
  10. I'm not blue about eating or going out. I still go out and I have no problem cutting out the sweets, the soda, the fatty foods. I'm doing good about that. It's just an overall sense of sadness/blue/depression. I've NEVER felt this way before. I wonder if its because I'm lacking something in nutrition or something. I log all my food...I'm getting all my vitamins and minerals...*shrugs*
  11. As I approach week three of being banded I can't help but feel as if I'm feeling a little blue. I don't know why I would feel this way, I have no complaints or regrets regarding getting banded, my new diet..etc Thoughts?
  12. Study: Obesity Could Lead To Depletion Of Earth’s Resources June 21, 2012 1:49 PM Share this food energy demands as an extra half a billion people living on the earth,” the study concluded. The findings were published in the BMC Public Health journal earlier this year. Research was conducted based on the theory that the body mass of a population should be factored into the amount of energy it burns, in addition to the number of people residing in a certain region. Though obesity touches all corners of the Earth, it was found that Americans were especially weighing down the planet. “If all countries had the [body mass index] distribution of the USA, the increase in human biomass of 58 million [metric tons] would be equivalent in mass to an extra 935 million people of average body mass, and have energy requirements equivalent to that of 473 million adults,” the research dictated. Data collected on the BMI and height distribution of the average adult in each country was used to calculate the total biomass resulting from a population’s size and average body mass. The percentage of those in a given country who are overweight and obese was also a factor. “Although the concept of biomass is rarely applied to the human species, the ecological implications of increasing body mass are significant and ought to be taken into account when evaluating future trends and planning for future resource challenges,” the study found. ”Tackling population fatness may be critical to world food security and ecological sustainability.”
  13. I'm at the start of my journey. I get my first fill on July 20th. I hope I hit my green zone by september. I'm ready to shed these pounds!
  14. Good Luck. Speaking as a guy, I would like to think he'll support you. If anything is a little scared about you getting the surgery, but being a guy he has to hide it with "why don't you just try to lose it naturally". Personally my response is..."I still have to lose it naturally, this is just a tool to assist me along the way. The device doesn't gobble up extra food or calories, just gets me fuller quicker..."
  15. yeah after being on a liquid diet...yeah..."the squirts" is normal.
  16. Congrats on your journey. If you feel like blogging via type or video would help, you should do it. I don't blog much, but i do log my activity (food, exercise)...GOOD LUCK!!! AND YOU WILL SUCCEED!!!!
  17. in addition to diet what else did you do that assisted in your success? did you have an exercise plan? if so what did it consist of?
  18. I was ULTRA PRIVATE as a teenager and my mother never understood why I didn't want her in my room...I remember one time she was in my room and she went through what books I had on my book shelf. I told her that was exactly my point. Why go through my belongings and then not expect me to freak out.
  19. I hope it gets better. My wife is going through the same experience though it even affects the entire sex life. It also causes her to overall be more emotional (because of her self image). *shrugs* I think that after you lose the weight (and you will) if you still feel that way, you should go to counselling and I'm sure your husband would be more than happy to go with you.
  20. I had chicken for lunch today (grilled) and about an hour later i was still craving something...so I had a Protein shake and then went on a walk...MY GAWD my stomach was talking to me...wowsers!
