Good Luck. Speaking as a guy, I would like to think he'll support you. If anything is a little scared about you getting the surgery, but being a guy he has to hide it with "why don't you just try to lose it naturally". Personally my response is..."I still have to lose it naturally, this is just a tool to assist me along the way. The device doesn't gobble up extra food or calories, just gets me fuller quicker..." -
yeah after being on a liquid diet...yeah..."the squirts" is normal.

I was ULTRA PRIVATE as a teenager and my mother never understood why I didn't want her in my room...I remember one time she was in my room and she went through what books I had on my book shelf. I told her that was exactly my point. Why go through my belongings and then not expect me to freak out. -

I hope it gets better. My wife is going through the same experience though it even affects the entire sex life. It also causes her to overall be more emotional (because of her self image). *shrugs* I think that after you lose the weight (and you will) if you still feel that way, you should go to counselling and I'm sure your husband would be more than happy to go with you. -
I had chicken for lunch today (grilled) and about an hour later i was still craving something...so I had a Protein shake and then went on a walk...MY GAWD my stomach was talking to me...wowsers!

only my wife knows...but there was one time where my mother did say (perhaps jokingly) "perhaps you should get the lapband too)....still though..its a private matter to me..so only my wife and surgeon's office needs to know for now. -

my PCP was all for lapband. She fully supported it (Yes I'm a guy with a female primary doctor). I'm not that body shy...

Ok so the topic of this post isn't obviously the point. Just trying to get more attention here. I've been banded for two weeks now. i started at 267, and I'm currently at 248.3. I'm controlling my diet well, and if I get hungry I usually have a few almonds or drink more Water.... how about everyone else? Did you find you kept losing weight before you had your first fill (even on regular foods)?

Food was never a love of mine..don't get me wrong I love food...but I was a bachelor for too long and I would get fast food out of convience. When I had a one bedroom apartment I had a small kitchen and I think I only made pizza out of the oven...mostly because I had to hand wash dishes. I was a lazy bachelor, now I'm married and I've gotten better.

I got billed after...I then take my EOB (explanation of benefits letter) when I get it and send it to my FSA and blamo usually within a week the funds are there. I lurve my fsa... -
