i just want to say I am not picking dr kelly because of trish.. it helps but that is not the reason.. There are two other drs at another facility that i def. know are not for me, there are other drs i wouldnt mind going to that i may not be able to afford, and honestly feel guilty spending the money as a mother of four and a wife, I am sure you other ladies get that.. But i still want to do

From what I know and have read this can be largly beacause you are not getting enough protien. You wouldnt believe the difference it can make, and I say this personally.. Ihave not had this surgery as of yet, but I have battled with protien issues and I am finally regulated and grew back all the hair I lost. Protien is sooo important is my point.. obviously age and genetics can also have play.. I actually went to a hair expert and she said that i had alopecia and had to get used to it and to look for a wig or start on a rogaine. I did an expirement with protien and kept it up as I saw my hair growing in. I had always had a pretty obvious widows peak that had been missing for about 3 years and its almost completely back. The average adult should be getting anywhere from 60-80 grams a protien a day. Maybe with not being hungary you are not getting enough protien.. Just a thought..but if that is the issue you have to stick with it or it wont happen..

Neva907- I will try that.. ldytrkrbrenda- so you used alighterme- and sandy was your go to? any problems?? how about the pick up and drop off from airport to hospital to hotel and back? cutie pie- the whole point of me asking all these questions is part of my research. I would not just blindly book an appointment to get my stomach ripped out in some country i have never been too. But I am also wondering why you seem negative about this.. I have heard way more positive things about dr. kelly than neg.. I have some good things about some other doctors there who are 3-5k more, and it is most likely not with in my budget. There are a few dr.'s who are less that I wont consider.. If you dont want to reply out loud please PM me and let me know your thoughts and why.. Bikerchick519- what is the new hospital and new hotel? was trish still there? I am glad everything went smooth. Did you also pay the 5700? and did you go through a lighterme (if so who was your co ordinator?) Was your pick ups and drops smooth from airport to hosp to hotel to airport and so on? do you have any current ways of contact the dr. and or trish if she is still there? I feel like I am being rude, but can you give an estimate of what doctor aceves charges? If not I understand.. I have been thinking about doing this stuff for awhile and recently found these lovely forums.. At first I was considering lapband- in Mexico, as my insurance doesnt cover squat.. But then I worried about fills and slipping and all that.. Then I learned about plication, but it seems as its okay that most people band or plication turn to this surgery instead.. so why not just start with it right?? I am considering going with Dr. Ramos Kelly, and i just recently heard about aceves.. I do not feel comfortable going with a dr.o or dr. a who work out of the same building- i have just read to many things 70% good and 30 % bad and scary, and that just seems risky to me...

I am looking to do this in Mexico being that this is not covered by my insurance in the US. Ive seen so many bad and good reports on this Dr. Ortiz that I dont know what to think. As a nurse from the states you were actually comforatble going into a strip mall shared by a adult super store to get this procedure done? I have heard of people who have had bacterial infections, people waking up out of their surgery in pitch blackness, over crowded recovery house, filthy recovery house. But I have also heard that it went good. Its a condsiderable amount less than the actual hospital that is recommended in the area, but I dont know yet that it would be worth the risk. I have just heard if this plication surgery and considering it over lap band, merely do to the upkeep and revisits that have to be done to fill and adjust the saline in the band.. How does one get fill if they do lap band in Mexico? Being that I live in WI not sd or LA i dont think of it as even an option. I like that this surgery is less evasive and the only foreign object is the souchers, I do worry about the losing weight factor, it seems like some people have hadall sorts of experiences with the weightloss all over the board. But it doesnt fll in the blanks like what they ate and how they exercised.. Oi- whats a girl to do?
