I had Lapband surgery in August 2011 and have lost 62 pounds and now my lower belly hangs down and the skin under it is red and sore and I tried powder and it irritated it more. Anyone know what to do for the irritation. My skin also tears easy under my breast and in the groin area.Any suggestions on how to help this problem would be appreciated

Struggling
I had my surgery on Aug.30,2012, I have 5cc in my band and have lost a total of 54 pounds, but I usually go 2 weeks at one weight before I start losing again, it seems to go off in spurts. I have the hardest time eating beef,it gets stuck even if I chew thoroughly.I hate when my scale does not change for weeks and get frustrated and wish this weight would come off faster. Is it suppose to come off in spurts? My weight is at a stand still and can not get it down and I walk everyday and twice a week I walk a mile around the town park but can not lose the way I would like to, at first I lost 5 pounds a week, then it slowed down.Any suggestions on how to lose it faster. This time my weight has not changed in 4 weeks and I am afraid I will never get to my goal.

Stuck
I was eating a piece of chicken breast when I felt like something was stuck in my throat and it took awhile before it went down and for 2 days I hurt in my back between my shoulders. This happens to me often no matter how well I chew my food . i have the most problem with meats, one time I even had to have some fluid removed because I had an inflamed esophagus. That sure taught me, I eat slower and if it is hard to go down ,I sip on liquid till it goes down before I finish eating.

Really Battling Mentally Today
I had my surgery on AUG.30th and at first I lost 24 pounds in the first 3 months then I stopped losing had my second fill and lost another 2o then stopped losing and when I went back to get 3rd fill I had not lost but 1 pound in 2 months and now that I got another fill the 1st of this month, I already lost 7 pounds. You do not have to cut out your favorite sweets, if you eat in small amounts, I eat 3 hershey kisses as a snack between lunch and supper and still am losing and no longer have constant cravings and am not hungry that often.I only walk for exercise, about 1 mile a day.I only eat 850 calories a day. Hang in there it takes work but you can do it. I never could lose weight before and have been overweight since 1980.This surgery is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I am off almost all my meds and my blood pressure has been normal for the first time since 1982. I do have to take anxiety medication because my body has went through a drastic change and I am also going through menopause. I am 51 and if I can get through this anyone can if they put their mind to it.
