If you do it spoon style you could easily start up sooner than 2 weeks out! It took us so long bc I was rehospitalized quite a few times there.

It annoys me that the word q uee r is blanked out like it's a swear word.

I'm not REALLY gay, I'm only sort of moderately gay.
Which means I am ***** and have had loads of ***** relationships- but I fell in love with and married a man... Which to most of my ***** friends means that I lost my LGBTQ card:(

2 weeks was the longest we could go

Fauxsagna was, without a doubt- my favorite!

Another thing that works pretty fast- 3 OTC Colace tabs before bed, then 3 more about 12-14 hours later. Make sure you have your calendar cleared for the day. And some diaper rash cream handy. Trust me on this.

I just wore the hospital gown the entire time. Any time something icky got on it I just traded it out for a few one.

I get between 4 and 10 Daily Digests every day!

For me the best way I've learned to reduce my portion size is to reduce my plate/bowl size. I eat out of baby bowls now and off of tiny sandwich plates. I also use baby utensils. It totally tricks my mind into thinking that I'm getting way more than I am.

When my stomach was infected my fever went up FAST and I had agonizing pain in my chest.
Here's to hoping you've got the flu and not an infection!!

Last week I read how cheetos were a big slider and guilty pleasure for many. I resolved to stay as far away from them- then my dad who is a huge enabler brought a huge bag of Jax (the best cheetoes ON THE PLANET!) and before I knew it 3 handfuls were GONE. Nothing else I've eaten has gone down like that. Afterward I couldn't believe I had eaten them- but then I realized that I STOPPED! Before this surgery I absolutely would have eaten that entire FULL SIZED bag without thinking twice. Now it's sitting in my cupboard and I haven't touched it since.
Last night I ignored my gentle full signal and took another bite. It was a five alarm OHMYGODIMDYING feeling. Holy crap my sleeve is no joke. I wasn't sure if I was going to pass out, die, start leaking, or all of the above.
I'm a month out and I eat like I did before surgery only in tiny portions. No puree, no mush, just regular old food. It's wonderful.

Your nerves are firing back up again!

Yup I'm over a month out and I STILL don't even get in half of what I should.

2/6 and I'm eating pretty much anything. My sleeve hasn't vetoed anything so far!

Very normal! Don't push it and just worry about hydration. Try to keep hydrated!
