sleeved 1/4, 17 days out, over 15 lbs lost, no diabtes meds since the day before surgery, feeling ok but tired alot, and of course I am still mourning my Mom who passed away 1/11,

Changed doctors due to bariatric consultant's HUGE mistake and her less than sincere apology! Stressful this close to my surgery date but secured the dame surgery date with the doctor who originally diagnosed my diabetes AFTER five years of misdiagnoses! He has operated on me before, with good results, so feeling like this was kismet...hopefully!

Headed out to my doc's office to pick up Unjury in chocolate and vanilla and unflavored...and my supplements. I will start taking the supplements right away, and the liquid diet begins the 19th...OMG! OMG! OMG! *shaking hands and running in circles*

Six months ago today I was a week out from surgery - and my Mom passed away. I had not yet told her, but I think she must know...it is raining out, a cold, wet, cliffisde rain - it is appropriate somehow, but I am at peace. I love you, Mom.

Very suprised at myself in a photo I took last night - that is me about 30 lbs down...and I don't know whow to explain it, but I am not sure I can see myself another 30-40 lbs down...it isn't a negative thing, just the thought feels very surreal - pffftttt - I hate it when I have difficulty expressing myself. ):
