  1. I had my surgery on Thursday and dealing with the exact same thing. My drain was on the left side, so I'm thinking that's why I have pain there, but it's the same pain your describing. I started with diarrhea today, think I had too much broth, or jello.
  2. I'm confused, I had the sleeve in 2012 and have bad reflux, I'm having DS in Mexico on the 5th, why wouldn't they do the bypass instead? My reason for the surgery is for reflux, not weight loss. I made it clear to my coordinator, but she said the Dr knows what he's talking about.
  3. Thanks Michael!! Just want this over with!! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  4. I too am having the surgery for EXTREME reflux, was it successful? I don't want to lose weight, I'm at 140lbs ( was sleeved in 2012), but Drs said will probably lose 15-20lbs and will average out. I was down to 120 size 2, so I'll be happy to wear my little shorts again Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  5. When I had the sleeve, I had it done on a Thursday and went back to work Monday with no issues. The low energy didn't kick in until I was 3 weeks post op. I'm doing the same thing with the revision, having it done Thursday and returning Monday, and I don't have a desk job Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  6. I got that for the first six months after having the sleeve, it was awful. I dread going through it again with bypass.
  7. I couldn't get UnitedHealth care to cover my revision. I had 4 surgeons, including the Mayo clinic submit documentmentation saying if I don't have the revision, my risk of esophageal cancer and stomach cancer is at 80%, they still denied me. I'm paying out of pocket.
  8. May 5th revision date, from sleeve to bypass.
  9. I'm heading to Mexico May 5th for my revision.
  10.    LabCop reacted to a post in a topic: Anyone had sleeve then had to revise to bypass
  11. I had the sleeve in 2012, lost all the weight and developed refulx/GERD so I'm now going in for bypass on the 5th. I hate to go through all this again, the loss of energy and hair loss was the worst, but I can't handle sleeping sitting up anymore.
  12. I am wondering the average amout of time people take off from work. I am having my Plication on Thursday, will I be able to return to work on Monday?
  13. Wow, i'm sorry to hear about your craziness!!! \Where did you have it done? I'm going on Thursday!!
