  1. If you feel its more deep than just the food, then you two need to have a sit down and talk it out...sometimes people do things without thinkings....like mindless eating...he can get away with it because he's at a healthy weight...but we know that we can't....that's why we had the surgery.... Talk to him, it wouldn't hurt, only help...keep the lines of communication open...because eating your problems away is no longer an option....
  2. Well buy enough for him too...what's the problem here??? You should want your family to adopt a healthy lifestyle, it will be easier for you to adjust...esspecially after surgery....one of the reasons why I like being single and have no kids, I dont have to worry about no one but myself.... So if someone comes in my house and touch my food, all bets will be off, and you may get cussed out... One of the many reasons why I like being single....lol
  3. Love it! so true...that's why I dont like the outdoors....LOL... Iremember watching a reality show (forgot which one) and a woman on it said "opinions are like assholes, everyone has one" when I heard that, I was like, uh yeah, I'm gonna use that!

  5. She's said she had RNY while playing on Becker
  6. actors and actresses have to gain and lose weight fast for different roles they play...so you have to consider that when it comes to them
  7. When I hit pureeds I was allow grits and cream of wheat...that was breakfast and lunch for weeks 3-4....now, not so much, because of the # of carbs...if I know my carbs will be low on a particular day I'll eat it for breakfast....carbs are not my friend
  8. Ice Cream is a "red light" food for me, and it is banned from my home....I dont want any parts of it, sugar-free or other wise...
  9. That different, usually doctors end those injections after around 14 days, have you been to see our doctor to ask why you are still on them???
  10. I don't think Paula had surgery....she actually changed her diet.....
  11. I doubt that....you only take the blood thinners for a short amount of time. Just try to rest and relax....I too was on the injections in the hospital, and my stomach was purple for a good 2 weeks...I felt sorry for it....
  12. Its totally normal....I was both tired and winded...couldn't walk far before I had to sit down and catch my breath.... It got better after week 1....
  13. And you shouldn't go by what everyone else's stats...people have different shapes and curves....some people are more muscular than others... I had people tell me to my face they were shocked my largest size was a 28 and I weighed at my highest 339 pounds...
  14. I was told that at about every 25 pounds you loose, you go down 1 size....

  18. I lived on the Amy's Organic bean soups....lentil, black bean (with cheese, my fave) and refried beans (fat free of course) with cheese too...now I know most will tell you to use low fat cheese, but I dont like when people mess with my cheese (luv cheese) so full fat for me....
  19. Becareful with those Special K and Ensure protien shakes....yeah they are healthy, but they are loaded with carbs and sugar...I had to school my aunt on those....she loves that new Ensure Clear...
  20. Around week 3 I started to get good with getting in my Water....protien, now that's a different animal...I've finally started getting good with that now, and I'll be 6 weeks out Monday...you just have to stay aware of what you put in your pie hole...make sure its good for your body... Eat to Live not Live to Eat....
  21. yeah, I know...it will end when you move to mushies...lol Just look at it from the prespective of your stomach....its like...WTH have this woman done to me.... *gumble* *grumble*....it will settle down in time... LOL
  22. Well, you are always told that there is a possibility for it to become a open procedure...that's why its EXTREMELY important that you research your surgeon...I veted my surgeon so much when I met him I had no questions to ask him, I knew all about him...to the point I knew where in Houston he went to high school... You have to pray (for yourself and your surgeon's hands), follow your pre-op diet to the letter, and have faith that the person you chose to change your life will do the right thing...
